Anki sat on her knees looking into a lake. She stared at the reflection of herself. She was in a dress of all things and very unhappy about it. She had been told she had to wear it by her father, she had agreed only because it was the day she and all the other vampires were being welcomed to the village…granted no one knew they were vampires, but all the same.
"Look at me; I could never pass for a perfect bride…or a perfect daughter." She began to sing as she rippled the water with her right pointer finger. "Can it be, I'm not meant to play this part?" she continued as she stood. She carefully took the barrette from her hair, freeing it back to its normal style. "Now I see... that if I were truly to be myself…I would break my family's heart" She sang walking around the lake. "Who is that girl I see? Staring straight back at me…Why is my reflection someone I don't know?" she kicked a rock into the water making the image disappear. "Somehow I cannot hide who I am, though I've tried." She kicked off the shoes she had been wearing and began to untie the bow on her kimono. "When will my reflection show, who I am inside?" she asked as the kimono fell revealing her black shorts and blue tank. "When will my reflection show, who I am inside?" She looked into the lake once more revealing the ninja girl she was. Why couldn't her father see that this is who she really was? She hated having to be like all the other girls. The only thing she found getting dressed up good for was to get a guy to notice you……And right now, the last thing she wanted was a guy to notice her in that way.

It's short…I know. But that's the whole song.I was just inspired by the song to write this, nothing much to it. One thing I would like to point out is Anki is not trying to be 'A perfect bride' that's just the lyrics and I wasn't in the mood to try and find other words that would fit better. I don't own the song, Disney does. R&R
