Naruto dragged himself inside his apartment after a tough day of training. He sighed, he was tired of the treatment he received from his teammates- his so called friends. Try as he might there was no escaping it, escaping the fate of being a Jinchuriki. He tried to be happy, or at least act happy. But the truth of the matter is that he woke up in the dark and will always fall back into darkness of such the fate for him. He tried to make things out of what life gave him, but in the end it's all thrown away, burned out.
Naruto came from his thoughts with a sudden idea and went in a sudden frenzy around his apartment looking for paper and pen. Once he found it he started writing.
Darkness into darkness
When you close your eyes
What can you see?
Darkness
You're sleeping a dreamless sleep
Lonely
Wandering
Wondering where you are
Your waiting
Then when you open up your eyes
The world seems to light up for you
You see-
Light
Dreamless sleep no more
The path as clear as day
You're in the light
The darkness not even in sight
But come night
Your there
You're in the place called
Darkness
He decided that if nobody wanted to hear him no matter how loud he talked then he would just have to write it down, even if it seemed uncharacteristic of him, little by little until his voice was heard. Then maybe his fate would be changed and he wouldn't have to fall into the darkness but brought into the light.
