Me: I do not own Dream High, sadly.
Prologue
A teenage girl throws herself on the ground with a grunt. Her breathing is heavy as she leans against the wall and swipes her loose hair back from her sweaty brow. She leans her head back with a sigh before sitting up straight and fixing her long brown hair back into a proper ponytail. At the sound of something heavy falling she looks up and laughs. "Jake! You need to stop! You're going to pass out if you keep dancing like this. It's been HOURS!" The mentioned Jake lifts his arm from the floor and gives her a rude hand gesture before it flops back down. His bare muscled chest rises and falls with every breath as sweat pours off his body. Carlynda carefully pushes herself with the help of the wall before stumbling over to the stereo to shut it off.
She walks over to where Jake is laying spread eagled on the floor and toes him in the side with her foot. "I'm going home to sleep. Don't you dare practice while I'm gone." She receives a grunt and with a sigh she turns around to grab her bag from the floor. She leaves Jake's garage and walks to her house only a few doors down. Upon reaching her porch she carefully peaks in through the front door to make sure her mother is no where in sight. They don't exactly get along after Carlynda became friends with Jake. Her mother just didn't understand their obsession with K-pop and becoming stars. With a regretful sigh she tip toes her way up the stairs to her bedroom where she throws her bag down and flops belly down on the bed. Before long her breathing evens out and she falls asleep.
It's several hours later when Jake roughly picks up Carlynda's mattress to throw her on the floor. With a startled cry she jumps up and upon seeing Jake kicks him in the shin. "What is wrong with you?!" She cries. Jake laughs it off and throws her a pair of skinny jeans, a yellow blouse, and her tennis shoes before running around her room and throwing things in a suitcase. With the clothes in her hand she follows Jake around her room. "And I repeat," she says "What is wrong with you?" With a snap of the suitcase closing he smirks at her before passing her a slip of paper. She warily takes it before her shrieking can be heard all of the way down the street.
"You bought us plane tickets to Seoul, Korea?!" Jake just brushed her off. "Yes, and if you don't hurry we're going to miss it!" Carlynda's face lights up and her blue eyes sparkle before dimming. "What about my mom?" He sighs at this question "I don't think she really cares Car." With tears she reluctantly nods her head. Seeing her acceptance he grabs her hand and they crawl out of her window and make their way down a few houses to Jake's jeep. They throw her bags in and make their way to the nearest airport. Once getting there they follow all of the normal procedures before finally getting to their seats on the plane. Carlynda sits by the window and leans her head against it as she watched all of the hustle and bustle of the airport workers. After another few minutes the plane takes off and she feels a tap on her left shoulder. Looking over it's Jake, offering her his right ear bud. With a brighter smile she takes it and rests her head on his strong shoulders and gently falls asleep with SS501 playing in her ears.
