A/N: It's been awhile since I wrote an FT pic. It's supposed to be "Mirajane-teasing-Lucy-with-different-guys", but somehow ended up with "The-Terror-of-Mirajane". Slightly (?) OOC. Sorry.
Behind the Smile
Mirajane is scary when she's mad.
Scary, because she doesn't show it. She smiles and tells you all sorts of logical reason why she shouldn't be mad at you or how the fates seemed to have convened against you that's why it's not your fault AT ALL.
But she's angry, you can tell.
Like how there's a dangerous air around her, how her voice is just a little bit colder, how she refuses to look at you when you talk. To be extreme, she's the kind of person who has the potential to be a psycho-killer. Honest. Like the kind of person who bottles it all up until she just SNAPS. I'm her friend (or at least I consider myself to be) so I know.
For the innocent people of Magnolia who don't know her that well, they probably wouldn't notice anything different. After all, she still talks and smiles and laughs at you as you walk the streets. But it's obvious to the people of Fairy Tail (which is why they are quick to give way), like how she walks a little faster or doesn't try to keep up, how she answers in one word or one sentence in a clipped but lighthearted voice, how she doesn't follow up, doesn't ask questions, doesn't talk unless spoken to (and sometimes, still keeps quiet even then.) Oh, you better run then.
Mirajane is scary when she's mad, especially when she's mad at YOU.
You can feel the little prickles of revenge, like forgetting to serve you a drink or wipe the spot in front of you in the bar, how she "accidentally" let slip where you live to all of Loki's fangirls or tell Juvia about that impromptu 2-man mission you took with Gray. Or how your "Single-since-birth" status seems to be known all throughout Fiore (and even in Edolas?).
"Mira-san, let me buy you a new dress!" Lucy volunteers yet again in order to escape the torment. Oh, please let it end.
"Ara~~ There's really no need," she counters her. "Natsu bump into you after all causing you to spill your drink in my new 300,000 jewels white dress. It isn't your fault at all…but…"
Oh no, there it is again, the dreaded "but" Mirajane gave her whenever she offered to make amends. She had found out about the "little slip" to Loki's fangirls and to Juvia the same way. What is it this time?
"I'm sorry Lucy. I accidentally left that photo of Gemini and Hibiki at the beach at one of the tables," she said. "I don't know where it ended up."
The photo was taken when Blue Pegasus invited Fairy Tail at one of their private beach resorts. Some of the spirits—Gemini, Virgo, Capricorn and Loki—had materialized without permission to join the fray. The stellar spirit of the "Twin" had taken her form and attached itself to Hibiki which it had seemed to grown fond of. The photo mentioned consist of Gemini (looking like her) sitting on Hibiki's lap with arms around his neck (as per request of the Archive Mage) when it was taken. She could just imagine yet another horde of girls hating her.
Even if Mirajane says its fine, looks like an apology (and a new 300,000 jewel white dress) was in order. She chased the retreating barmaid as she tried to step out of the guild with a mysterious smile.
"Mira-saaaannn!"
Mirajane turned completely evil. But I love her! She's one of my fave characters in FT :D
