"I don't believe it."
"Well it's true…"
"I don't believe it."
"Believe it already..and close your mouth."
The man dropped down in his chair. Although he had a broad smile on his face it was a smile of total and utter disbelief. He was not a man to be easily shocked, but this had taken him completely by surprise. He shook his head a few times.
"I…"
"…don't believe it.." his friends said laughing.
"We've been through that already," the second man said.
The pneumatic door hissed open and Napoleon Solo walked into the office. He was surprised to see his Aunt Amy sitting in one of the plush leather chairs. Behind her, his arms folded over the back of the chair stood Bill Del Floria. They were both casually dressed and both grinning from ear to ear.
"Aunt Amy?" Napoleon said walking towards her, "Why are you here? Is anything wrong?"
As Solo came closer he noticed the expression on Mr. Waverly's face. Napoleon stopped in his tracks.
"Am I missing something here?" he asked.
Amy stood up and hugged her nephew tightly. She kissed his cheek. Napoleon was totally confused. He took hold of her hands.
Solo felt something poke his finger. He lifted her hand and stared at the beautiful diamond and golden band on her finger. He looked at his aunt. Then he looked over at the beaming Del Floria. Bill shrugged his shoulders and gave Napoleon a slightly crooked grin. Solo's jaw dropped and he felt his chest tighten slightly. He smiled.
"I don't believe it," was all he could say.
