Olivine City 20 years after the anime
Ash sat the small house he shared with Dawn and his newly born son Caesar. Caesar had just fallen asleep in Ash's arms. Ash didn't think he'd ever get used to joys of parenthood. Ash heard Dawn walk in so he put Caesar in his crib and went to greet his wife. Dawn and Ash had moved to Johto a little over year ago. They were one last that escaped Kanto. Ash got up; he had to go to his job as a police officer in Goldenrod City. Ever since the war had broken out they always needed more cops. Ash took his trusty Pikachu and left. Dawn was home with the baby like every other night. Knock knock knock. Somebody was at the door. Dawn answered the door and said hello.
"Hey Dawn". It was Zoey one of Dawn's friends from Sinnoh. "Zoey? What are you doing here?"
"Well I was in the area and I thought I might as well stop by"
"But are you in Johto"
"Can I come in I'll tell while we are in private"
Dawn led Zoey in her small living room and made some tea. Dawn hadn't seen Zoey since before the war. Why was she here all of a sudden?
"So, um, why are you in Johto?"
"Going to Kanto as a diplomat and Johto is the only way in"
Dawn was stunned; outsiders hadn't been allowed in Kanto since Unova had conquered it. Rumors were spreading that they were going to attack Johto next. The news report had said that there have been clashes at the border. Dawn was starting they should go to Sinnoh. Suddenly sirens started sounding all over the city. Dawn had become accustom while living in Kanto. They were air raid sirens. The sirens woke up Caesar. Dawn ran in to grab him, she handed him to Zoey.
"Take him to the cellar and don't come out until the all clear sirens sound, no matter what happens stay in there." Zoey followed Dawn's instructions and ran to the cellar. Meanwhile Dawn ran to get all of her and Ash's precious pokeballs. She then turned out all the lights and closed the curtains. When she got to the front door she heard the first bomb hit the city. She had a flash back to the first air raid in Kanto.
It was a warm summer day Dawn and Ash were sitting outside the Pokémon Gym in Pallet Town. Ash had been a gym leader for about six months now. Lately a lot of planes with the Unova emblem had been flying over. Ash's friends Misty and Brock were with the couple. Since it was such a nice day they decided to go for a swim. While changing in Ash's house the bombs started to fall. In all the chaos Professor Oak, Brock and Ash's mother were killed. When the planes left Pallet Town was nothing but a fiery wasteland.
Dawn wasn't sure if this would happen again but she wasn't taking any chances. She sprinted to the cellar. After four hours of firebombing the planes left. Dawn, Zoey and Caesar emerged from the bomb shelter. Olivine City had suffered the same fate as Pallet Town. As Dawn's neighbors emerged from their shelters, they all just wondered around. Dawn knew what she had to do. First she had to get everyone out of the burning city. Then she had to go to Goldenrod to reunite with her husband.
