Chapter One: Royal Talk

Queen Serenity and King Endymon were sitting in the empty throne-room of their palace on the moon when Queen Serenity told King Endymon an exciting piece of news.

"My dear Endymon, have you heard that Prince Darien has accepted our invitation to the Royal Ball we are holding for Serena's Birthday?"

Endymon replied in the negative.

" Well, he's arriving today, in exactly 30 minutes."

"But the Ball isn't going to held until Friday! Where is he staying until then?"

"Next door to Serena's room." She replied calmly, before the storm, which was soon to come out.

"NO WAY IS HE STAYING NEXT DOOR TO A 15 YEAR OLD GIRL!" Bellowed the protective father. (personally I'd be weary to)

"Calm down. There are going to be guards outside her bedroom."

" Fine, fine. But if he lays just one finger on her he will regret it."

"Your majesties, Prince Darien has arrived." The Messenger announced.

"Show him in" The couple stated simultaneously.

" Your majesties" Prince Darien bowed to them. The King and Queen returned the necessary greetings in such circumstances.

" Nice to meet you. I ask of your leave to go up to my temporary room and unpack my bags." More of a statement then question.

" I'll guide you up to there." King Endymon declared, secretly wanting to talk to Prince Darien in private.

As soon as they were on the second level, King Endymon turned to Prince Darien.

"I'm giving you a warning so listen up. You are staying next door to my daughter's bedroom so don't you dare venture into there if you are exploring the palace. The same rule applies at night as well. Lay one finger on her or any of my daughters and you will be in utter disgrace. Do you understand me?" He left off the conversation with a threatening tone.

"Perfectly clear, your Highness." Replied the young man, unaffected by the King's speech.

"Good. Dinner is at 7.00 p.m., so be ready in 4 hours time." And he left.

Darien sprawled out on the King-sized bed and thought…
