Four o'clock is when they go to the station clock tower.
It's also the number of days left of his summer vacation.
The countdown begins.

Axel tells him it means bad luck.
He believes him.

The more he thinks, the less he's sure.
Time is running out.

The three never existed.
The two are gone.
