Leo Jones was a charismatic photography student who had dreams of experiencing the cultures of his world, but then he died. He was finally on a plane out of the country with his camera and sketchbook in hand, ready for anything. Except for the ill-timed fiery plane crash into the ocean. He believes he'll never be able to achieve his dream, and he waits in the inky blackness of what he believes is the afterlife, light is forced upon him again, and so is a whole lot of adventure to come. He especially realizes this when he realizes exactly where, and when, he was reincarnated to.
