Hi! Thanks for reading! Reviews are very helpful and appreciated. Please excuse any spelling or grammar errors. Enjoy!
Cold. That's what I always am. The winter months in Arendelle are frigid. The air pierces your skin like a dagger.
I looked up at the great castle's walls. What secrets were hidden within?
Queen Iduna was with her first child. This was an exciting event in the kingdom. This had been the first royal birth in a while.
The buzz of the village was different people were excited. Their chatter was more chipper and lively.
Others couldn't care less, while some were beyond them self's and Either way, it wasn't something you could just ignore.
I kept walking on the cobblestone path. The wind blew breaths that stung like ice. I pulled my shawl closer. I shivered everywhere.
I quickened my pace and hurried over to the library. I managed to open the heavy oak doors. I stepped in and immediately got a waft of the aroma from the library.
It was my favorite smell, the wonderful smell of the ancient books. It was also greeted by how warm it was in here. Some would say it was too hot, but it was just right.
I grinned at the librarian, Ms. Agneta. Ms. Agneta was an elderly women with hair that was as pure as snow. She was about four feet and you'd think she was the cutest thing you've ever seen. Until you had a conversation with the women.
"Gahhh in here again, are ya?" The old women croaked "Yes. It's so cold outside."
Ms. Agneta rolled her eyes and shook her head. "When I was your age, we thought this weather was hot! Phew you younins are nincapoops I tell ya!"
I smiled and the old women and she resumed her tasks muttering to herself about the times when she was younger. I slowly started to walk over to a shelf on the right observing everything even though I'd seen it a million times, and picked out a new book.
I sat down at the table and started reading it. I usually did this everyday. I could sit there for hours reading just one book, and completing it in the same day.
But today I would have to cut my visit short. I have plans today.
I sighed and put my book away. I would have to finish it tomorrow. I called out "Goodbye Ms. Agneta! I will see you tomorrow!" She called out from somewhere "I know Britta!"
I chucked to myself and walked out. I wish I didn't have to leave as soon as I did, but I have business to attend to.
When I walked out, I was greeted by the stinging cold as she exited the building. The air was even colder, coming from the warm building. I shivered and hurried along.
I can't wait for it to be summer. I hate the cold. I hate constantly being miserable.
I wish I could just walk around and not have to worry about freezing.
I made my way to the docs. That's where we always meet. Where I always meet Dagmar. But today, something was different.
