Too scared to ask
"Connor this is slightly awkward, and I wouldn't ask someone like you unless it was my last resort." Said Becker.
"I'm all ears." Connor replied "Is Matt being annoying, do you want help getting over Sarah again, is there any more deaths you want to flash back to?"
"It's about girls Connor"
"Why are you asking me, it took me about two years to get off with Abby, it took living in the cretaceous to accomplish that. Who is it you want to ask out."
"Actually it's Jess." Becker replied, slightly embarrassed.
"Sorry mate I can't help you with mission impossible" Connor said, "Just buy her some chocolate girls like chocolate"
"Connor I've been doing that for a month- hasn't gone anywhere."
"Why don't you just show her that you appreciate her" Connor said
"Do you what Connor, you may not seem like it on a first impression but you're actually quite wise."
"Really? You think so? I just got that off one of those cheesy TV shows me and Abby used to watch back in the flat."
Becker rolled his eyes and walked off.

"Abby?" Said Jess as she peered round the corner. Abby turned round. "I need some advice on asking out Becker." Abby approached Jess, smiling.
"You want to ask Becker out?"
"Well yes." Said Jess, embarrassed.
"Ummm, why don't you show him that you appreciate him?"
"Abby that's brilliant!" Jess said beaming.
"Really? Because I got it off one of those cheesy TV shows Connor and I used to watch in the flat."
"Thank you Abby." Jess walked back round the corner feeling confident.

Jess and Becker cross paths, giving an indirect awkward smile to each other.
"Connor, I need some advise on asking out Becker so what do boys like?"
Connor paused for a moment smiling at the fact that Becker had just been here, then played along and said "Super heroes and Comics."
"No offence Connor but I meant boys in general. Not geeks."
"Ummm, they like short skirts."
Jess looked down "check, or in your case check mate. Anything else?"
"Well, Becker likes guns, and arguing. Get into a row with Matt; that'll impress him"
Connor grinned then carried on with the work he was doing.

In the mean time Becker went to Abby.
"Abby, I want to ask out Jess and I'm not really sure how to do it. What do girls like?"
Abby smiled, playing along. "Well we like chocolate"
"Tried that" Becker chipped in.
"Ok well, we like it when boys are strong and confident. Get in a row with Matt; that will impress her, but we also like sensitive so ask her if she's ok afterwards."
Becker left the room ready to row with Matt, same with Jess.

"Mathew Anderson!" Becker shouted as he approached Matt, Jess approached from the other direction. "Matt!" Jess shouted.
"I don't like where this is going." Said Matt.
"Matt it's about the EMDs" Becker yelled.
"Yeah, I had to watch a girl being torn to shreds today. Now, that wouldn't have happened if we just used real guns!" Jess screamed.
"Jess you have no authority to talk to me like that."
"It's not just her" Becker said confidently.
"Becker" Jess continued "I was wandering ..."
"If you wanted..." Becker continued,
"To go out." Jess finished
"Hey what about arguing with me?" Asked Matt
"Shut up Matt" Said Becker

Jess and Becker were on their date,
"Soooo, coincidence isn't it that we both rowed with Matt." Becker said
"I went to Abby for advice, then Connor"
"I went to Connor then Abby!" Becker replied
"So they knew about this!" Jess said
"I'm so glad I have a licence to kill him."
"I thought you were ex-military?" Jess asked
"I have a gun, what's your point?"
Jess giggled.
Then, was the moment they both approached each other across the table, then, the kiss.
The end
