"Naruto?" Sasuke asked the blond who was carelessly resting on the thick doormat of the hill where they were both sitting on.
"Un?"
"Do you regret all the time I've been away from you?" he had wondered so many times and now he had to know, he had to know the answer to that question that had been stomping through his thoughts for so long.
Naruto turned and smiled. Their faces were only a few inches apart.
"I love you, Sasuke."
That was all. Naruto didn't have to seal his words with the passionate kiss that followed. Sasuke kissed back and wrapped his arms around his counterpart's muscled body. He could feel the warmth oozing through Naruto's pores, he could taste the saliva hot in his mouth, he could smell that musky scent of ramen and foxy wild flavors when he nuzzled his nose up and down Naruto's neck.
War had finally ended.
They weren't anymore in amidst some battle, they weren't training either, they were mating ravenously just like lovebirds will do.
Naruto had let out the words he had craved for so long out of that moist cavern that he was exploring right now. Naruto had let bloom those feelings that kept them awake at night. Longing, always longing.
Flesh and blood and revved up hearts. War so alike. Love is just so alike.
"I don't," mumbled Naruto inhaling for more of Sasuke's intoxicating oxygen, "I don't regret anything since I have you by my side."
Sasuke just throw himself towards Naruto and tilting his head on Naruto's shoulder, he felt how those broad shoulders giving in his embrace hugging him back.
"It makes me so glad," murmured the raven, getting accustomed to such comfort. Naruto pressed Sasuke tighter, tracing patterns on his back wit his fingertips.
The sunset shined behind the higher mountains, melting the older snows, creating fine string rivers pure and crystalline so when the moon made her appearance, the ripples of the lake outlined the shapes of a silhouette that had missed the other half long ago. Tonight. It's time.
The unrelenting crash of this encounter.
Because Time. Time are the moments I spend with you, Sasuke.
