Here is a short one I wanted to share with you.
First (and only) chapter
He would be leaving in a few hours.
He had done everything he could to help his Tauri friends but with the return of Dr Jackson he knew it was time to go back home.
He had done his packing and was ready to go. However he had one last thing to do. He still had a question he needed to be answered.
He entered his office, no, that would be Daniel Jackson's office now and found the man he was looking for.
"Hello Daniel"
"Jonas! Are you ready to leave?"
"Actually yes I am. Hum Daniel, may I ask you a question"
"Sure"
"Well, working with Colonel O'Neill has been quite an experience. He's not always easy to go through"
"I agree. What's your point?"
"In the end we were going along pretty well. However he always went mad when I said one word and nobody would or could explain me why"
Daniel looked at him expectantly. He was waiting for Jonas to continue.
"As soon as I would say the word room he would shoot me a nasty glare do you know why?"
Daniel burst out in laughter and decided that Jonas deserved to know the whole Zartac story. Jonas would never tell this to anyone. Besides he was leaving earth in a few hours.
Two hours later…
The whole SG1 team was gathered in front of the wormhole which had just opened. They had just been saying their goodbyes to Jonas.
He was about to go through when he turned and looked at Colonel O'Neill straight in the eyes and said one last thing with a mischievous glint in his eyes :
"It's been an honour to serve with you Colonel. I'm glad we were able to go through our differences and that we didn't leave anything in the room".
With a last smug smile he turned and left a laughing Daniel, a smirking Teal'c, and a stunned Samantha Carter and Jack O'Neill.
