Author's Note: And here is my second fanfic, enjoy! After this prologue, it would be the main character's POW, and I might have spelled Bayville wrong

So, it might take a bit of a long time(one and a half weeks) to put the next chapter, got a crap-load of homework

Prologue:

Bayville, Sunday morning

"And here we are recapping this conflict. Now if we can zoom here we can see a group of powered people called mutants fighting this giant robot. So far there is no bystander reported injured but one thing is for sure, these people called mutants are very dangerous. More on this story later with the courtroom."

Carter Dean was watching this on his couch when his mom came in. He was transfixed by people that had blue skin and laser beams coming out of their eyes, slashing done on a robot, they were certainly dangerous. He was shocked and had a certain hate for them.

"Hey mom, have you seen this yet?"

"Yes, I, I think you better be very careful, I mean, some of them look like normal human beings so be careful. They are a menace."

His little brother Jonah walked in the living room along with his dad that went to get snacks this Saturday. He was holding a Fire-Man action figure being obsessed with superheroes. Both watched what was on Tv and had mixed results.

"My God." His dad said.

"Woah, that is so cool, they are superheroes!" His brother was pretty much jumping up and down in excitement.

"Son! Don't ever say that! They are not superheroes, superheroes don't exist, they are a menace and you should stay away from them!"

His brother had a shocked look on his face, he looked down sadly, then ran upstairs to his room.

His mom looked at her husband disapprovingly.

"Adam! You should have done it more gentler!"

"What? He needs to know what is good and bad, I don't want him to be mixed up with those, those, things!"

"Sigh, I know, I know."

Carter got up and went to the door, he said,"Hey, I'm going out now."

"That's fine honey, bye."

"Bye."

He got his coat and shoes on, and closed the door before he went outside. It was rather cool, and he decided to go to the park. He could hear something, he quicker his pace to see what it was. Demonstrators, holding signs and yelling out slogans. Closer he realized it was a anti-mutant rally.

They were protesting against letting mutants having the same rights as humans.

He entirely agreed with their views, how can those mutants strut around with those dangerous powers, innocent people can be harmed. It bothered him even more that later he saw in the news one group of them were kids at his school.

They live at a boarding house called Xavier's School of the Gifted or something like that. The gifted part made a lot more sense now. He seen the kids a lot, now he knew why that Scott kid weres those red glasses, he can kill somebody by looking at them! People like that need to be locked up for the safety of normal people. He wasn't even sure that he could call them people, because they are defiantly not human.

Tomorrow he would have to go back to school, for the rest of the day he thought about how he was going to deal with the mutants at school
