"Hello, and welcome to the midday news," started a Blue Lakitu, "We are the Lakitu Brothers with the latest news from the Mushroom Kingdom, over to Red for the headlines."
"Thank you Blue!" replied Red, "Two Goomba's were caught stealing from the Royal Mushroom Kingdom Museum's Mario Exhibit. They were caught by the security guard as they attempted to sneak past the original overalls Mario wore when he first rescued Princess Peach. The security guard caught them when he smelt the overalls which hadn't been washed since his legendary attempt over 20 years ago.
"Luigi was caught with his pants down today literally as the straps were caught by an young Koopa Troopa. The Koopa Troopa was quickly captured and forced to pay for Luigi's replacement overalls.
"All travellers to Yoshi Island are to stay away from the Yoshi villages as the egg season has began, although the eggs are laid the Yoshi's are extremely territorial where their eggs are concerned and may attack unknown people to protect them.
"And in other news Princess Peach has been kidnapped in another world take-over attempt. Mario is assumed to be readying himself to rescue her from the clutches of whoever has her this time although we can confirm that Bowser has no involvement in this case.
"Now over to Green for the weather."
"Thank you Red," replied Green, "Meadow areas are sunny today with temperatures in the mid 30's, desert areas will reach over 90 degrees so make sure you keep cool and drink plenty of water. Snow area's will go as low as minus 30 so wrap up warm."
"Thank you Red and Green," started Blue, "As normal we will keep you updated on Mario's rescue of the Princess with regular updates. And that was the news."

"What!?" screamed Toadsworth, "The Princess's predicament is hardly mentioned at all! This is an outrage!"
