Sorry the title sucks. I really couldn't think of anything for this... Anyway, I guess I should say I don't own Zelda. As if it wasn't obvious...
Legend of Zelda: No Man's Land
Prologue- The Ancient Prophecy
For as long as time itself has existed, there has been another world. A mirror world, spoke of only in the legends of the deities. A world of silent citizens and malicious rulers. Though, looked upon by the naked eye, it seems as a normal land, just as Hyrule.
Now, don't be mistaken. It is not Termina. Nor is it any other land reached by man. It's density and power is much more like our own…
A lush forest.
A broad mountain range.
A crystal lake.
A village of souls.
A vast desert.
And a temple, in the land of royalty, which separates man from the immortal…
And though this strange yet familiar land has only been seen in the visions of the greatest prophets, it will indefinitely meet with ours…
Light and darkness will merge.
Souls will fade.
Blood with splatter.
Time will stand still, as the earth crumbles beneath all who remain…
In the time of Hyrule's hero… This I have divined, and now, with the last of my life, I warn you…
Take heed and submit to none.
What... What is this?
Cerulean eyes widened in horror as a golden-haired beauty read once more over the words, then shuddered as she clasped the pages of the old book tightly, only to make matters worse by bringing pressure against her thumb. She winced at both the force and the page's contents.
"Princess Zelda?"
She reluctantly turned to face a castle guard, who had, upon her father's request, prohibited her from going anywhere but her personal room and the bath without an escort.
She would have preferred that her Shiekan attendant could have been with her. But Impa had been summoned to the throne room some time ago.
"Y-yes?" she stuttered in pain and slight embarrassment.
"Is something wrong? You seem awfully pale."
"It's nothing." she replied rather bluntly.
"Are you sure, my lady?" he pressed. "You don't seem too well…"
"I am certain!" There was an awkward silence, before she realized just how loud she had been. Cursing herself in her head, she bit her lip. Her father had said many times that she had become much more aggressive since she had reached her thirteenth two years earlier… "…I am sorry." she sighed. "I have just… remembered something important. I must go to the temple."
"Then I shall assist you."
"No." Her bluntness returned. "Impa shall come."
"I hate to be rude, but Miss Impa is too busy to…"
"You will not come!"
"But, princess…"
However, he was ignored, as she turned back to the book. Opening the page she had kept slightly, she noticed something red. Blood, though she was certain it wasn't her own. Horrified once more, she then started running straight toward the Temple of Time, at the point in which she didn't care if being alone was going against the king's orders or not. Or if Impa knew immediately or not. She just knew that something strange was happening.
Sorry it's so short... Ths is just the prologue. I promise the other chapters will be longer!
Anyway, please review and let me know if there's anything you see wrong in this, or just to let me know what you think of this so far.
