Kalee walked into the palace. This was it. She was about to meet the family that she had been taken from when she was a baby. She had always wondered what her family was like. Ahsoka had told her how Master Skywalker had grown up with his mother until he was nine. She missed her old friend. Everything at the temple had changed after she left. Anakin was so much angrier. Not the old happy go lucky hero she always knew him to be. Him marching on the temple with all of the troopers a few nights ago and slaughtering the Jedi Order was a nightmare she kept reliving in her head. It was the greatest battle Kalee had fought. At the beginning she thought it was for someone's Jedi Trials but when she saw Skywalker at the head of it she knew everything was different.
"Kalee" Astor the Butler said walking into the room. "The King and Queen will see you know". Kalee froze. She had never been this nervous about something. She closed her eyes and cleared her mind. It was a trick she had learned to get over being nervous all the time. She followed Astor into the throne room.
It was a large hall with a tall ceiling. I reminded her of the great hall in the temple. She looked down and there they were. Her mother and father. He was tall with chocolate brown hair that turned gold in the sunlight just like hers. He wore a dark blue suit and a crown that fit perfectly on his head. Her mother wore a gorgeous dark red gown with golden sleeves. Her hair was down but pushed behind her back. Her tiara was a silver and made it look like she had a halo.
"Kalee...?" The king asked in shock.
"Georg she looks just like you." The queen said.
"Helena, my dear we must greet our daughter." They got up from their thrones and walked to the middle of the room. Helena went up to Kalee and put a gentle hand on her face.
"Oh my dear. You're more beautiful than I thought you'd be." She said and then hugged her daughter very tight. Kalee hesitated at first but then hugged her mother back. Georg took both of them up in his arms. When they finally let go Kalee had tears in her eyes.
"I never thought I would ever meet you."
