Hey guys, it's back! Some of you guys wanted me to keep going, so I just decided to make it... better? Edit, I mean. IDK... Enjoy!
Third Person POV
"Not to be rude, kids, but… Why are we here, again?" Mr. Morgan said, checking his watch. "My meeting is in forty-five minutes and it'll take half an hour to get there." Jane, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan, along with Erica's mother, Rory's parents, and Sarah's parents, were seated in their children's normal meeting spot (the Morgan's living room) across Mrs. Weir, Benny, Erica, Ethan, Sarah, and Rory. Jane glared pointedly at Ethan, who rolled his eyes and nodding as she stood up too.
"Jane, honey, where are you going?" Mrs. Morgan said absently as she dug fervently through her purse. "Chap stick, chap stick..." she muttered before looking up briefly.
"I already know what they're going to tell you, Mom," Jane said, rolling her eyes and crossing her arms over her chest. "Can we hurry this up, guys? Debbie Dazzle is waiting for me upstairs." Ethan, Benny, and Sarah shared a nervous look before shaking it off. That name was all to familiar.
"Is this really important? I have a date tonight," Erica's mother, Mrs. Jacobs, said, eyeing them warily. Her blue eyes were just like Erica's- annoyed and calculating.
"Mom," Erica complained, "Of course it is. This is life or death," she said, smirking at her own joke. Sarah's eyes widened and then narrowed before she just settled on saying something.
"Look, this is actually important. We're sorry if we're taking up your time. We didn't think we could wait."
"Is one of you pregnant?" Mrs. Jacobs asked in a monotone, glaring pointedly at the two older girls.
"Eww," Erica said disgustedly. "Why would... Eww..."
"Whatever you say," Mrs. Jacobs's glare loosened only the tiniest bit, and everyone could see where Erica got her various array of expressions.
"She's dead." Jane shrugged nonchalantly when everyone turned to face her with shocked faces.
"Are you talking about Erica? Sweetie, she's right here," Mrs. Morgan said slowly, a weird look in her eyes, but Jane just shook her head.
"Jane!" Ethan tried to send her a warning message with his eyes, but she shook her head.
"I couldn't wait! You were taking a long time and it was boring." She then dashed up the stairs to her room. Ethan face-palmed.
"It's true," Rory put in, flashing and then retracting his fangs for proof. "Look, ma!"
"OH MY GOD!" Mrs. Johnson (Rory's mother) proceeded to throw her purse at him, which bounced off of him quite ineffectively, and point at him with a quavering finger as her mouth opened to the shape of a perfect 'O.' The two men in the room did the decidedly masculine thing and both jumped behind the couch, tying to drag the paralyzed women with them by their shoulders. Mrs. Jacobs's glare was now the look of a frightened chicken. Poor Mrs. Morgan's now-found chap stick fell to the floor, only half applied.
"E-E-Ethan?" She rasped, her eyes wide as saucers. He put his hands up in a surrendering motion.
"N-no, mom! I'm fang-free! So are Benny and Jane! But... Sarah and Erica..." he gulped as his mother only leaned farther and farther away from them into the soft cushions of the couch. "I'm something called a seer," he continued nervously, sensing their looks of terror slowly become ones of awe as they focused on Benny, Erica, Rory, Sarah, and Ethan. "Benny and Mrs. Weir cast spells." The adults' gazes lingered on her for a few seconds in surprise before switching back to Benny who waved sheepishly. "The supernatural is real. Werewolves, vampires, zombies, the works," Ethan laughed nervously.
"Does this mean Batman's real?"
*insert continuous face-palming here* oh, adults and their knowledge on magic. :D should i keep editing and making it longer? R&R!
