Aoko won 2 tickets for a plane trip to Osaka and invited me to come.
I packed my things and she packed hers.
Saturday. We're inside the plane.
Aoko slept beside me.
No, she didn't rest her head on my shoulder like in the movies. Her head tilted the other way, hit the window and woke up because of the impact. She ended up massaging her head.
How unromantic.
Seriously unromantic.
We switched places.
1. Because Aoko might hit the window again.
2. Because I want the window spot so I can see the sky.
Aoko is sleeping again.
This time, she's steady.
Her head is tilting. Slowly, slowly moving towards..
Again, the opposite side. And down. Her head faced the floor.
How very unromantic.
Seriously.
It's like she's waiting for me to move her head.
Her posture looks so..
..terrifying. It also looks pitiful, but it terrifies me.
I moved her head normally.
Again, her head is moving.
Slowly, slowly titling towards...
...
..me.
It's not like I waited for it to.
Her head is resting in my shoulder when suddenly,
the plane hit a cloud. The plane moved, letting Aoko's head fall and face the floor again.
I hate you, airplane.
We reached Osaka.
Nothing happened.
She's so energetic. I'm wide awake the whole flight. She's full of energy. I'm out of energy.
For your own sake Aoko, be a bit feminine.
We had a chance to meet the highschool detective from Osaka. With his girlfriend.
Aoko asked for his autograph but after seeing the girl's annoyed face, much to the girl's delight, Aoko asked for her autograph as well as taking a picture with both of them and me.
Good thing I didn't accept the photography job.
What we did next is hang out with them for a while. They showed us Osaka, ate with us both most of the time, they're arguing with their Osakan Dialect. Makes us feel weird.
"Oh. Kazuha, Kudo and the others are here." Hattori Heiji pointed the cellphone.
"K-Kudo?" The girlfriend responded.
After arguing for a while, they left to pick them up.
Now, we're in a train. The train is quite crowded, so Aoko is holding onto me.
Typical Aoko.
I saw the daughter of one of Mom's friends. We talked for a while and Aoko looks annoyed.
The girl saw, she left with the excuse of "My dog is hungry."
Later, Aoko got hungry again so we decided to eat some Okonomiyaki: Osaka's pride.
It was the best Okonomiyaki that I ever ate.
It's getting late so we're going back to Tokyo through plane.
The same thing happened.
She insisted on sitting next to the window and ended up hitting her head on it while sleeping.
We switched places again.
Only this time, Aoko's head rested on my shoulder during the flight. Finally, some rest.
I slept next to her, my head resting on hers.
The next thing I saw is the flight attendant taking a picture of us.
She asked for my permission to include it in their advertisement. It was quite an honor, so I accepted it without Aoko's knowledge.
We look like a couple in the picture.
2 weeks later, I saw it on television.
Heck I thought it's just some tarpaulin.
Aoko said it's a big honor but wants me out of the picture.
Typical Aoko.
Still, it was fun.
Thinking about it now, it still is fun.
And I love it.
