DISCLAIMER:Um I don't own anthting but YOUR MOM LOL...sorry...that was bad.
Demyx curled the toes on his bare feet around the grass he was sitting in. It was like how normal people fidget. But Demyx wasn't exactly normal. In fact he was quite unusual. But nevertheless he always found a way to deal with the "normal" people.
People thought that just because he had funky taste in music and was gay that they could write him off as one of those types, a freak. He simply lived outside the norm. Not his fault he wasn't a cookie cutter kid!
But there were always those kids wherever he had been, the kids who made a big deal of his bright cloths and odd hair. But he had seen enough of those types to know they couldn't do him any real damage, he had seen them all over in Atlantica and in Twilight Town, wherever the kid moved. Oh and boy did he move a lot.
His parents had traveling jobs, so he was in a new world every few years. Demyx had been ripped away from so many different comfort zones that he had closed off his heart to anyone. But now his parents were retired and they had settled down for good in this quaint little town called Radiant Garden.
But he didn't see anything different it was still going to be the same kids with the words that cut like glass and glares that could pierce rock. So needless to say he didn't want to get up and walk home. Hell, he didn't ever want to move from this spot. He was comfortable, laying in a field of grass with no shoes on. No shoes of course being the best way to feel the vibrations of the earth.
He liked doing that.
But it was three minutes till his eleven o'clock curfew and he lived five minutes away. "CRAP" he shouted as he bolted towards his house, getting there just in time for his mom to scold him. "Demyx! I have told you a million times be back at eleven!" "I'm sorry mom" he said in the nicest voice he could manage.
She sighed. "Its okay for now, but don't make a habit of it! You have school tomorrow so set your alarm and don't forget to wear your uniform!" Ugh. Another thing, Demyx hated uniforms, just another way to try and make a bunch of individuals into clones. He flopped on his bed and fell into a deep sleep. I hope they're not as mean this time, maybe since I'm a senior this year it'll be different.
BRIIING! Demyx smacked his Mickey mouse alarm clock and rolled out of bed threw some gel in his hair and tugged his uniform on and strolled out the door and into his black 1979 Ford Mustang and drove off to school.
His first two classes went by pretty much as he expected them to, boring and with people whispering about the crazy jewelry he wore up and down his arms. Until it was time to go to band. He was so excited that he was running down the hall and ran right into another boy on his way down the hall. "Oof" the other teen said as he fell to the ground, his limbs entangling with Demyx's and his sketchbooks flying everywhere.
"Oh-oh my god, Jesus, I'm so so so sorry!" Demyx apologized to the other boy as he picked up his things and got up off the floor. When Demyx stood up he came face to, well neck with the other boy, whom he could describe as almost wicked looking. His face was thin as was his entire body. He had a mass of wild red hair that looked like it was a firecracker, just set off. He was holding a cigarette in one hand and had his lip pierced too.
"Heh-it's okay, my names axel" The boy said.
"Oh, hi" Demyx muttered and he thought that maybe for the first time in his life, he found someone just as 'freaky' as him.
Um Reviews and I will love you forever, and maybe even cookies.
