I do not own anything, anyone or any animal, mineral or plant.

This is going to be a late christmas one shot, as in extremely late. Unfortunately I had no internet where I was staying and I totally forgot about this until today. Enjoy!

Twas the night before Christmas, and all through a house,

Not a creature was stirring, not even Starfire's cooking.

The spandex were hung by the washing with care,

In hopes that the monster goo will no longer be there.

(Most) Titans were nestled all snug in their beds,

While visions of laser guns danced in their heads.

With Robin drinking coffee and staring at maps,

then deciding to take a short little nap.

When out in the tower there arose such a clatter,

Robin pulled out his weapons to go see what was the matter.

Away to the window(s) he flew like the Flash,

Pinned down the intruder and almost pulled off his mask.

"Dude!"

"Sorry, Kid Flash."

Robin stowed his bo and collapsed on the sofa, rubbing his eyes.

"I just wanted to ask you something," Kid Flash asked earnestly.

"What?"

"Should I ask Jinx out?"

"Why?"

"Because I like her," Kid Flash said, slowly and deliberately, as if explaining to someone rather stupid.

"Sure, go ahead."

"But I need ideas! Something big, something amazing, something that will make her say yes!"

"I've never had a girlfriend before. Why are you asking me?"

"What, you're not going out with Star?"

Before Robin could punch him in the face, Kid Flash continued.

"Maybe something iconic. Something that-" His eyes lit up. "Yes! I got it!"

He zoomed away, probably back to Keystone City.

Robin muttered rude things about speed maniacs and went back to his case.

He heard someone tapping his door. Annoyed, he pulled it open and found Herald, smiling sheepishly.

"Hey, Robin? Can I ask you for a favour?"

"What do you want?"

"You mind if you could give this to Bumblebee?"

"Why can't you give it yourself?"

"Because," he said, blushing, "I don't want her to know it was me."

Robin grudgingly took the gift and shut the door.

Sitting down, he looked intently over the case files, when he heard a knocking on the door.

Yanking the door open, he yelled, "I DON'T WANT TO BE DISTURBED!"

A very surprised looking Starfire was holding a cup of coffee in her hands. Robin instantly smacked himself on the head, embarassed.

"I can leave, if you want." Starfire said quietly. "I merely wished to give you a cup of this beverage, as you were up late again." Placing it on his table, she kissed him on the cheek. "Merry Christmas, Robin."

Robin waited until she left, then smiled.

It was a very merry Christmas after all.

Merry Late Christmas! As always, please review :)
