Courtney sat there on her couch holding the blanket to her chest. You could easily tell that there had been tears on her face seeing that her eyes were red and strained. She couldn't get over what had happened. She just couldn't believe that she had decided to do it. She was so lost and confused that at that moment it seemed like the right thing to do. Courtney decided to get up out of the chair to turn the radio on. It had always seemed to soothe her even as a child. She didn't even care what channel it was all she wanted was the music.
