It was late afternoon, the day after Jade cut Cat's hair. Cat felt ugly. So she did what she had always done - go to Beck's. She rang the doorbell.
"Beck?" Cat said hopefully.
Beck answered the door. "Cat? What are you doing here?" Beck said
"I wanted to talk to you, Beck. Is that okay?" Cat asked.
"It's always okay, Cat. Come on in." Beck said. "So what's up?"
"Jade cut my hair! Can't you tell? I'm ugly. My hair will never grow back. I'll be ugly the rest of my life, Beck!" Cat said.
"You won't be ugly. You aren't ugly. You never will be." Beck said.
"Yes, I will, Beck! I will!" Cat said.
"No. You're beautiful no matter what. You're amazing, Cat. " Beck said.
"I'm not amazing, Beck. I'm ugly. I'm a freak." Cat said.
"Cat, you're the most amazing person I know! You're the reason I broke up with Jade. Because I could be with you" Beck said.
"I didn't know that." Cat said.
"Because I didn't have the nerve to tell you. But Cat...I love you." Beck said.
"Oh Beck...I love you, too." Cat said.
