Stronger
Hello everyone, so this is my brand new fanfic. It's kind of random and it will have five chapters in total so please follow me on my quest at this story. I have no idea where it's going.
"My office," he grabbed her by the arm. "Now!"
She shrugged his grip off and marched towards the direction he pointed. She knew she was in trouble, she just didn't understand why.
"What's this about?" she asked confident enough.
"Just you wait, now keep walking," he pushed her lightly.
Vince McMahon had never been the kindest of people. He was a very large man and could be extremely intimidating when he wanted to be. Trish knew him all too well.
Once they reached the office and slammed the door shut, away from prying eyes, Vince sighed and looked down at the papers on his desk.
"Why Trish? All I want to know is why?" his hand lingered over his chin.
Trish Stratus wasn't really sure what he was talking about and she didn't really care either. She had more important things to think about, like seeing him. Her thoughts wandered as images of his face flooded her mind, and then a loud voice bought her back to reality and the conversation at hand.
"Trish, I want answers!" The chairman raised his voice, a little agitated.
"I...I don't know what you're talking about."
"Yes you do. My son is what I am talking about." He leaned over his desk and got considerably closer to Trish. She backed away a little, wondering why he was being like this. "I've told you time and time again to stay away from him. Now if I hear anything about the pair of you then your job will be relooked."
"Relooked? What is that supposed to mean?" Trish snapped, infuriated.
"Fired basically. Don't think I won't do it Trish, I won't think twice about it. You're..." he looked down at her. "Disposable."
Trish opened her mouth to speak.
"Don't speak Trish," he interrupted her before she could even begin. "I have nothing more to say to you."
He indicated at the door but Trish didn't budge.
"Well I do. I am sorry if I haven't been the most discreet about my feelings for Shane but we love each other and that's all that matters..."
An uproar of laughed splurged from the McMahon's mouth.
"Love? Shane wouldn't know love if it hit him in the face. Now get out, I won't ask you again."
Trish understood better now, she knew talking to the boss wouldn't help. She decided she should give up and think of a different way to convince her future father in law she did really care for his son.
She nodded and got up out of the seat she had been sitting in. As she made her way to the door, she couldn't help hearing a comment from the man behind her.
"Gold-digging whore." He muttered.
Trish was outraged. She turned around immediately.
"Excuse me?"
Vince shrugged.
"I didn't say anything, now I think you were just leaving."
Trish was a lot of things but she wasn't a gold digger.
"I wasn't going to tell you this Vince. I didn't think it was the time, but I suddenly changed my mind. If I'm such a gold digging whore, if Shane doesn't know love and doesn't love me, then answer me this. Why did he ask me to marry him?" she held her hand out showing him the engagement ring placed proudly on her finger.
"We are in love, we are together and we are getting married. So you better get used to that and you better get used to me," a smirked emerged on her face. "Dad."
So there we have it. 1 down, 4 to go. I might extend the chapters if I get reviews and/or start enjoying this story. Please review!
