I awoke to the feeling of Edward's lips on mine

One hand in hair, the other beneath my spine

He pulled back to smile and my name he said

He was my angel, I thought sleepily in bed

I kissed back with passion and meaning

Back to the pillows, we were leaning

He whispered he loved me

That his love was as large as the sea

And slowly we arose to a new day

The grass dew-filled, the sky still gray

"Where to?" I asked, turning to he

"The meadow," he suggested smiling gently

And thus we left, hand in hand

To the meadow, the place we call our land

And we spent the day laughing and talking

And birds 'round us flying and walking

I lay my head against his chest

Feeling that indeed I was blessed

To have such a love

So I thanked God above

As Edward gently stroked my hair

With such loving care

Content we were to just rest in our embrace

So peaceful in such a special place

And then the sun went down

And the moon shone on the town

And rocked gently in the sky

We gazed at the stars, ever so high

And we traded secrets and dreams

As the stars and moon smiled and gleamed

This is fate, I knew

As Edward whispered, I love you.
