Teddy watched casually as Harry knelt down to Albus. He rubbed his hands together and crooked his neck to listen to what he was saying to him. He smiled when Harry told him that same story when he went to Hogwarts so long ago about the two greatest Headmasters. He looked down at the younger boy smiling and walked forward, placing his hand on Albus' shoulder.

"You'll do fine," Teddy said. Harry looked at the nineteen year old and shook his head with a delighted smile. The young man looked so much like Remus when his smile reached his eyes that it was uncanny. Harry turned around when he heard his older son's voice.

"Don't leave touch my things while I'm gone, Lily! Don't want your girlie germs on them," James teased.

"Why don't you leave me alone Jamie?"

"Because sisters are annoying and we're the reason brothers hate their sisters!" James threw his arm around his younger brother. Albus slumped his shoulders, sighing while rolling his eyes.

Teddy narrowed his eyes and his hair turned an electric blue from its tawny brown. Harry was about to open his mouth but noticed James biting his lower lip at the reproving look from Teddy.

"May I?" Teddy asked Harry. He didn't want to overstep his bounds but Harry knew how much his oldest son looked up to Teddy and nodded. Teddy placed a gentle hand on James' shoulder and turned the boy to face him. He craned his neck to look up at Teddy. He definitely had his father's height as well as his patience.

"James. You really should be heedful in what you say to your sister. She loves you very much."

"Oh, Ted. I didn't mean anything by it. Was only teasing."

Teddy nodded his head to the young Lily. "I think she took it more to heart than you realize. I'd give anything to have a sister like her."

"You say that like you're lonely. You have us."

"Sometimes it does get lonely and nobody ever lies about being lonely."

"I'm sorry," James lowered his eyes and frowned.

"Maybe you should apologize to her and not to me," Teddy said with a wink.

Harry watched as James went to hug Lily. Putting his hand on Teddy's shoulder, "You're more like your father than you know."

Teddy smiled at Harry with a profound sigh and sorrow in his heart.
