The Legend of Zelda: Fractured Time

Prologue: The Shattered Ocarina

"Ganon... is gone!", Zelda fully realized. "We did it! Hyrule is saved!" Zelda felt the Ocarina tingle. "What is that?", she wondered aloud. Zelda took the Ocarina out and it flew out of her hands. The emblem of the Triforce began to glow, and from the Ocarina, a voice emanated and the Ocarina began to float.

"Zelda... Princess of Hyrule... The Ocarina of Time is more powerful than you know of. It has the power to wreak havoc in other timelines. During the final battle, Ganon hit Link where the Ocarina was stored. Do you, Zelda, see the crack?"

"Y-yes, I do. Who are you?"

"All in due time. Anyways, the crack on the Ocarina is a sign that it was poisoned by Ganon. The crack grows wider and longer with each passing minute. The Ocarina could break, and time as we know it may flow, until the incarnations of the Hero and Princess are ready to fulfill their destinies. Wait, what is tha-"

Suddenly, the Ocarina broke into pieces. Zelda cried out in shock, but to no avail. The pieces flew in different directions, and for the rest of this Zelda's life, she looked, but never found the pieces.

Part One: The Return

Chapter One: Majoru

Majoru, a city known for farming, was the home of many "retired" knights. It was the safest place, next to Hyrule Castle, if an attack occurred.

It had been thousands of years since an odd happening occurred. The descendants of three heroes met, and they combined to form a superhuman that easily destroyed Ganon. He never returned.

One day, a royal advisor approached Majoru. Once at the gates, he announced, "By the decree of the King, Majoru will be the location of this year's Trifestival to celebrate the 50,000th anniversary of the sealing of Ganon. In the coming weeks, more royal officials will come to help with the preparation. Good day."

The villagers began to cheer. However, one boy in a small house was having a nightmare...

Link looked around the dark room. He saw a green figure in the distance. "Who's there?", Link shouted. Suddenly, Link heard very clearly, "After 50,000 years... I have been biding my time to break this seal. I have finally done it. Hyrule, fear my wrath."

The day of the Trifestival came quickly. The decorations earned royal approval. At sunset, the ceremony began.

The King rose to give a speech.
"My loyal subjects", he began, "today is the 50,000th anniversary of the sealing of the King of Evil. We are gathered to remember the final blow that freed Hyrule from the curse of Demise. We have built a model of the Triforce that glows when it senses each piece. As you can see, the Triforce of Wisdom is glowing due to Princess Zelda. Wait, the Triforce of Courage? Why...?" The king whispered into a soldier's ear, and the soldier began checking hands while the king resumed. Then, the Triforce of Power began to glow.

"Find the Hero!", the king yelled. The knight raised a child's hand with a glowing triangle. They whisked the boy away into a carriage and sped away from Majoru, with the royal family not far behind.

A loud, booming voice could be heard throughout Hyrule. "Ah... Yes... After 50,000 years, I can swing my sword." A slice, followed by screams that were cut short(no pun intended), was heard. "Finally, I can destroy the Bearers of Courage and Wisdom. Hero and Princess, you can run, but you can not hide
