This is a pretty spontaneous one-shot that I decided to write because I watched Lockdown yesterday.

So yes, this is a re-write of "Lockdown", 10x16. You pretty much have to watch the episode to understand the ending.

Thanks for reading and leave me a review!

Morgan and JJ were sitting at the metal interrogation table, questioning Officer Tom Polinsky about the mysterious deaths that had been occurring at the prison for a few months.

After promising the safety of his daughter, the prison guard told them everything. How the other guards made the inmates in D block fight each other so they could bet on them. How they made Tom help get rid of the bodies so he would be an accomplice.

"Will you testify to all of this?" JJ asked him. He nodded. "Yes."

Just then they head the click of the cell doors to the interrogation room being unlocked. All of a sudden, swarms of inmates flooded into the room, and fighting immediately broke out.

Many of the inmates went straight to Polinsky. One of them had a homemade shank and stabbed the guard with it. He went down, bleeding profusely.

The rest of the inmates went for Morgan and JJ. Morgan ducked as a large one swung a fist at him.

It was far from a fair fight; he had five guys on him at once. He shoved one into the other and punched him, but they just kept coming. He tried as hard as he could to hold his ground.

Meanwhile, JJ was fighting a crowd of her own. A large inmate rushed her and she ducked just in time to avoid his fist.

Unfortunately, she backed right into another one.

The guy behind her hit her right in her lower back, and she crumpled to the ground. The inmates moved to jump on her, and she rolled out of the way just in time.

Getting back to her feet, JJ grabbed the chair from the table and hit the nearest inmate with it. He fell to the ground, unconscious.

Great, only seven more to go.

She kicked in the legs of the guy in front of her, and he fell to his knees. Swiftly, she kicked him in the head, and he slumped to the ground. She was about to hit the next guy when she heard Morgan's yell. "JJ behind you!"

She had no time to turn around before a meaty arm wrapped around her throat.

The guy yanked his arm back, choking her. Her hands clawed at his arm, but it was no use. She couldn't get free, and she was slowly losing oxygen.

The guy holding her turned them so that they were facing the other side of the room. JJ panicked when she saw that Morgan had been restrained by three guys and were holding him still.

Her guy adjusted so that his hand was squeezing her throat instead of his arm. She thought that she might have a better chance of getting loose this way, but it was almost as if his grip was even stronger.

He lifted her body up so that her feet weren't even touching the ground anymore. She dangled from the hands choking her. She was slowly suffocating, and once again tried to pull his hand away from her throat.

She couldn't do it.

His grip was slowly crushing her esophagus, and she started to see spots from the lack of oxygen.

Right before she was about to pass out, the guy let go of her abruptly, and her body fell to the floor like a deadweight.

JJ's hands immediately went to her throat as she coughed and gasped for air. Slowly, her vision returned clearly and she looked up just in time to see a fist coming towards her face.

The impact of the hit slammed JJ's head, the few inches it had been up, back into the ground.

Morgan struggled to break free of the men that were holding him. "Stop! Stop you sons of bitches!" One of the guys hit him in the stomach to shut him up. The more he struggled, the harder they held him.

Another inmate kicked JJ in the ribs, so hard that Morgan was pretty sure he could hear one of them break. He fought the guys holding him; he had to get to JJ, to help her. But he couldn't get free.

Abruptly, one of the guys hauled JJ up from the floor. She had blood dripping from a cut below her eye and had a nasty bruise that was already forming there.

One of the inmates, a lean white guy with a snake tattoo on his neck got really close to JJ. "You're a pretty thing, aren't you?" He said, his voice dripping with lust and malice. His eyes roamed her body like it was his last meal.

Without warning, JJ head-butted him. His head snapped back and blood dripped from his nose. He wiped it away with an evil grin. "Oh, I like you! You're a feisty one, ain't ya?" He grabbed a handful of her hair and yanked her head back.

At the sight, Morgan bristled. "Don't touch her!" He struggled so hard to get free that one of the prisoners actually lost his grip, and Morgan used his free hand to punch him.

Now that he had some leverage, Morgan was able to fight off all the guys that had been holding him. They were all now either unconscious or dazed on the floor.

Morgan ran over to pull the guy off of JJ, but a huge skinhead got in his way. The guy shoved him back so hard that he actually stumbled back a few feet. Undeterred, Morgan brought his hands up, ready for a fight.

He would do whatever he could to help JJ.

While Morgan was fighting the inmate, the tattoo guy took the opportunity to run the hand that wasn't holding her hair down her hips. Two other inmates that were close by stepped in to get their share. One of them grabbed her ass and squeezed it hard while the other one leaned in against her back to kiss her neck.

JJ shivered with disgust at the feeling of all the hands on her body. She needed to do something, now.

She kicked out in front of her, catching tattoo guy in the shin. He let go of her and stumbled back, swearing. JJ spun around and punched the nearest guy in the throat, effectively getting rid of him for a few minutes.

Tattoo guy quickly recovered, and him and the other inmate surrounded her. When they both rushed her at the same time, JJ ducked, and they slammed into each other.

While they were recovering, she jumped onto the back of one of the guys and wrapped her arm around his neck, much like what had been done to her. From the angle she was holding on at, the guy couldn't get free, and slumped to the floor within minutes.

Straightening up, JJ faced tattoo guy. He wasn't smiling anymore. She was about to rush him when someone yanked her backward and pressed a cold blade to her neck. She struggled to get free, but he just pressed the shank harder into her skin, and she could feel blood trickle down her neck.

Morgan was still trying to overpower the guy he was fighting, but the inmate was huge, and eventually, had him restrained in an unbreakable grip. Morgan stopped struggling when he saw that JJ was being held with a blade to her neck. "Okay! Okay."

The prisoners forced them out of the interrogation room and brought them into a larger room. Morgan and JJ were still being restrained.

The ringleader walked up to them. "Well, well. What do we have here?" He grinned evilly. Before he could do anything else, another inmate entered the room, followed by his people. It was one of the guys that Morgan had interviewed earlier.

"What the hell are you doing, man?" He said to the ringleader. "These here are Feds. You kill them we all going down."

Morgan made his opinion known. "He's right, man. We know what the guards were doing. We got enough to bring this whole place down. Just let us go."

The ringleader paused for a moment, and all of a sudden, the guy holding Morgan crumpled to the ground. He had been shot by a sniper.

The hall outside swarmed with S.W.A.T. and the rest of the team. They rushed in as the doors were unlocked.

Medics went to the guard. Kate and Reid went straight to JJ, while Hotch and Rossi went to Morgan. They helped him up, and he brushed them away. "Never mind me. Help JJ."

They all went over to her. Kate and Reid had helped her up, and Reid was currently inspecting her face and accounting for all of her injuries. She waved him off and he backed away reluctantly.

Now that everyone was safe, they left the room, eager to get out of the prison. Hotch made Morgan and JJ detour to the infirmary, though, since they had a number of injuries.

Both Morgan and JJ got a couple of butterfly stitches for the lacerations on their faces. JJ had her ribs wrapped, too. She miraculously didn't have a concussion, but was given some pain meds for the headache that she had. They both had their knuckles disinfected and wrapped since they were pretty torn up.

When they were finished, Morgan and JJ made their way out of the prison. They walked beside each other silently, both thinking about the events that had just transpired.

Morgan pushed open the door, and JJ followed him out. They breathed in the fresh air and looked up at the sky.

Morgan tilted his head towards JJ. "You ready to get the hell out of here?" He said in a low voice. "Am I ever." She responded, and they glanced at each other before continuing to the SUVs.

The two vehicles slowly made their way out of the place that had seen so much evil, the darker side of mankind.

And they didn't mean the inmates.
