Hey, so this is officially my first upload on this account/website, even though I've been writing for quite a while now ;

Ok so, I'm an occasional writer I suppose, I try to upload when I can but I'm still in my senior year in high school and am dealing with personal issues so I may not update too often. But know that I hate discontinuing or stopping a story it bugs me if I do that.

Disclaimer: I don't own any characters or series unfortunately, though I wish I did (Hoshino Katsura you blessed woman).

On with the story! ;D

It was dark. Fog coiled around my mind, suffocating my thoughts and numbing my senses. I can faintly hear something. A call? It's hard to hear, muffled somehow, like as if the voice was covered or maybe...underwater...?

Images flash through my mind all at once and soon I'm overwhelmed with them. We were on a mission I remember that clearly, we failed? I was hit by something...? An akuma? Then my body hit the harbour. I'm drowning. Wait...I'm drowning?!

I scramble in my mind trying to grasp onto the fading light I deemed reality. I need to wake up! I have to! I need to keep my promise, to keep walking for Mana! I take a sudden breath, choking on a rush of salt water flooding my body.

Flexing my will and pushing back my panic, I summon Crown Clown. I can feel the cold pressure closing In on me. I can't breathe, I need to breathe. Feather soft tendrils shoot through the water, thankfully latching onto something on land and not a moment too soon.

I breach the waters surface gasping and coughing violently as my innocence drags my body to shore. The sand beneath me is itchy but grounding as I turn onto my side, deactivate my innocence and promotely cough up all the water in my lungs. Tears pinprick my eyes and I can't see through the haze. I could have died, I was so close. Throat and lungs burning, stinging with the aching relief fresh air brings, I finally tune into my surroundings. I freeze in place as footsteps approached my location and a heavy (warm, I noted) hand landed on my shoulder.

I look at the man's feet, for only a man could have such big hands, and pale as I spot familiar well dressed clothes. I try to activate my innocence, emphasis on try. Mind whirling I only register the man...the noah speaking before I give into darkness.

"Hey, you alright there, boy?"

Ok, that's all! This is originally a one shot but I might continue it?

Thanks for reading! RR please! 3
