Korra let's Tackara knows that even though you are an Avatar, doesn't mean that you can prevent all tragedies. After all, they are human.
Korra watched Tackara clenching her hands into tight fists. She watch her gritting her teeth together as she stare at her with anger and anguish in her eyes. It was at this moment, Korra knew.
Tackara was torned. Korra sighed as she looked up at Tackara.
"Tackara, I understand how you feel"
"How?! How could you possibly understand how I feel?!" Tackara yelled at the top of her lungs, causing Korra to wince a bit. "Everyone loved you! They still do! They love you more than me! To them, I'm just an outcast. A nobody. People couldn't believe I was an Avatar! That I was a rebirth of you!"
Korra just looked at Tackara with sympathetic eyes as she continue to spill out everything she was bottling up inside.
"All my life, all my life! I been known as a colorblind trouble maker who's a nuisance to their city but what they don't know is that all I want was someone to look up to me, to care for me, to protect me, to love me for who I am. But, that was nothing more but a fantasy. People only did those things because I was the Avatar."
Tackara's green hazel eyes pierced at Korra's blue ones as she takes a few steps towards her until she was a good foot away from her.
"I never got to meet my parents, especially my mother! But you did! You had a family as long as you lived who cared for, protected you from everything! And you stand here, telling me you understand?! Are you crazy?! No one, can understand me! So don't stand there and telling me that we are the same because in actual reality, we are nothing alike! You hear?!" Tackara said as she jabbed a finger in front of Korra's face.
Korra looked at Tackara with a look that couldn't be explained with words and that anger Tackara more but Korra did something she didn't expect. She punched her!
"OOOF!" Tackara coughed out as she was sent back a few feet. She quickly looked up and saw Korra standing in front of her with a glare.
"I didn't know that anyone could be so wrong yet so right in life but you, you made it possible" Korra said in a calm but raging tone.
This statement caused the anger to lower a bit inside Tackara as she looked at her with confused look.
"What?"
