I Love You
Love is a strange emotion for each and every one of us
It can give us the feeling of being a minus or a plus
Wanting to protect from the danger that's all around
From high above in the sky, down to the ground
The urge to say the three words becomes too hard to bear
Sometimes it is easier to pretend that we don't care
A kiss on the forehead is all I could give and send
Before going to the fight that will last till the very end
Knowing that my death will cause my heart to break
Causing every single beat to throb and ache
I will come back to you one day
The words "I love you" is what I will say
Till then, I wish my love would keep you strong
I will come back to where I truly belong
This was written in the spur of the moment when I was at work. It may not be as cheesy as I hope it would be, but I hope you like it anyways. I do take requests at the moment. Please review and tell me what you think.
