"Your sick!" yelled Jake as he threw the pancake mix at PB, mad that she is jealous about Finn dating Flame Princess. All Finn ever tried to do with PB always ended in a disaster, and now he wanted his bro to be happy. Remembering his first encounter with Flame Princess he thought she was a monster. Now since she was Finn, he can see her as a loyal friend and a great, wonderful, and kind lady.
"What are you…? This isn't about some petty love triangle," said PB and begin to wonder all the memories of her and Finn. She was trying to get Jake to look at a piece of paper. "Flame Princess is not who she seems to be."
"What the Gob are you talking about PB?" asked Jake. He knew that FP been in a lamp all her life, her own father called her evil and she really likes Finn, may be even loves him.
"Look, I thought I was ready to tell Finn that he shouldn't meet Flame Princess. When I was young, my parents went to see the new princess of the Fire Kingdom. It was a traditional activity where Kings and Queens from other kingdoms will come see a new prince or princess in another kingdom," said PB and started becoming emotional.
"Yeah I heard about that tradition before. It was one of the most peaceful things in Ooo, except when the Lich went a hundred years ago. I always wanted to go to one," said Jake.
"So my parents saw Flame Princess and thought she was the cutest Flame Princess ever. Flame King told them that she was to get into the wrong hands; she will be use as a weapon of mass destruction. My parents didn't believe him, and continue to give her love. Flame Queen got near my parents when the horrible accident happens. A loud scary noise scares her, and she became so powerful, before Flame King could have stopped her, she killed her mom and my parents. Peppermint Butler told me what happen to my parents I couldn't sleep, eat or talk, for weeks," said PB.
"Princess Bubblegum that is a sad story. But why can't you let them be?" asked Jake.
"Flame King changed after that day. He locks her up in a lamp for the rest of her life, and his personality changed. He used to be a loving man, but now he is a crazy, grumpy man and wanted someone else to take her away, so that it can be their problem. I promise my parents at their funeral that when Flame Princess comes out of her lamp, I will help her control her power so that she won't hurt anyone else. You see, I'm not jealous of Finn dating flame Princess, but I need her to control her powers before she hurts someone else," said PB and give the paper that she had in her hand. It was a picture of her father and mother.
"Princess Bubblegum, I'm so sorry about what I said to you. I just don't want Finn to be hurt again. He needs love and Flame Princess is the one that he does love," said Jake and give back the picture.
"I also want Finn to be happy with her. Those two make a wonderful couple and I won't stand in its way. I just need Flame Princess to control her power before she can accidentally hurt someone else close to her, mostly likely Finn. Now if you excuse me, I need to fulfill an old promise."
