SCENE:

Choir Room: The room is empty except for Blaine & Kurt

Blaine is seated at the piano. Kurt stands behind the piano. There is distance between them.

BLAINE: Kurt, what's wrong? You've been so…so distant.

KURT: I know. It's because you've been, well…distant.

BLAINE (his face shows concern): What do you mean?

KURT (hesitant, but honest): You never touch me.

BLAINE (joking demeanor): Wait. Just last night –

KURT (completely serious, his voice shows no humor): You know what I mean. You don't touch me in front of other people.

BLAINE: (confused expression)

KURT (hurriedly, if a little snappish): Mike & Tina are always kissing and snuggling at practice & Rachel's basically in Finn's lap, but we'd need a damn billboard for people to know we were together.

BLAINE (soft, exasperated tone): Kurt, people know we're together.

KURT: But I want to know it.

BLAINE (a little hurt): How can you not know? I tell you I love you all the time.

KURT: Yes, but I want to feel it.

Blaine is a bit taken aback. He drops his head and begins fiddling with the piano.

Blaine begins to play Adele's "Make You Feel My Love."

25 second piano intro to song plays over the following scene

Hallway: Halls are basically empty. There are a few stragglers gathering their things and leaving.

Brittany is fiddling with a few things in her locker, getting ready to leave. Santana approaches, nervously.

SANTANA: Hey can we talk for a second?

BRITTANY: Sure, but it's gotta be quick. I'm supposed to meet Artie.

SANTANA: Ugh, is that really important? (annoyed)

BRITTANY: Yes, Santana. Why are you always like this about Artie?

SANTANA: You know why.

Cut to Choir room – Blaine, playing piano, begins singing Make You Feel My Love

BLAINE to KURT: When the rain is blowing in your face, and the whole world is on you case, I could offer you a warm embrace, to make you feel my love. When the evening shadows and the stars appear, and there is no one there to dry your tears, I could hold you for a million years, to make you feel my years.

SANTANA to BRITTANY: I know you haven't made your mind up yet. But I will never do you wrong. I've known it from the moment that we met. No doubt in my mind where you belong.

BLAINE to KURT: I'd go hungry I'd go black and blue. I'd go crawling down the avenue.

SANTANA to BRITTANY: No there's nothing that I wouldn't do, to make you feel my love.

Musical Interlude

Santana takes Brittany's hand.

Cut to Choir Room: Blaine rises from the piano, walks toward Kurt. Band is now in room (no one cares where they came from) and are playing the violins and the dreaded keyboard which is slightly redeemed. Blaine takes Kurt in his arms. They begin to slow dance.

Music builds

BLAINE to KURT: The storms are raging on the rolling see, and on the highway of regret.

SANTANA to BRITTANY: The winds of change are blowing wild and free. You ain't seen nothing like me yet. I could make you happy make your dreams come true.

BLAINE to KURT: Nothing that I wouldn't do. Go to the ends of the earth for you, to make you feel my love.

SANTANA to BRITTANY: To make you feel my love.

Cut to Choir room: Close up of Kurt who is crying, beautifully.

KURT(whispered): I know.

Blaine and Kurt kiss. It's tender and full of love. Kurt feels it.

Cut to hallway: Brittany takes Santana's hand in both of hers

BRITTANY: I know.

Brittany and Santana walk down the hallway together, hand in hand.
