The Fight

The Doctor was mad. In the middle of an escape plan, his sonic screwdriver became cracked. Actually, to say he was mad would be an understatement. He was furious.

"It wasn't me, so don't be angry with me. I didn't touch or go anywhere near it." Rose said. The Doctor had been giving her the cold shoulder all the way back to the TARDIS.

"Well, if you hadn't gotten in the way, this wouldn't have happened!" The Doctor fumed.

"How was my being in the way so bad? They were trying to kill you, and I'm sorry, I really don't want you regenerating on me again!" Rose countered.

"I could have managed without you getting in my way!" The Doctor argued.

"Well, if I'm in the way all the time, why do you keep me here?" Rose asked.

"I don't know why I keep you! Maybe I shouldn't!" He yelled.

"Fine! Maybe you should send me home!"

"That's the best idea you've ever had! Pack your bags, Rose Tyler, I'm taking you home!" The Doctor stormed over to the console, and punched in the coordinates.

"I'll feel so much better once I'm back with someone who cares! At least my mum cares!" Rose ran into her room. Once the anger wore away, she realized that she didn't want to go home. Tears streaming down her face, she opened the door to go find the Doctor.

She didn't have to go far because he was sitting on the floor outside her room. He looked up at her with a solemn look.

"Rose, please don't leave. I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have acted like that." The Doctor looked so pathetic, Rose had to keep from smiling.

Rose pulled him into a hug. "It's alright. I'm sorry too."

"That's good. Because I love you, Rose, and I wouldn't be able to stand it if you left."

"I love you too. Now, there is an earth tradition I want to institute." Rose said with a smile.

"And what, pray tell, is that?"

"Well, after a couple fights, which we are a couple and we just fought, they kiss and make up."

"I can do that." The Doctor kissed her on the lips and all was forgiven.
