Title: Mistletoe and Eggnog

Fandom: Star Trek Voyager

Pairing: Kathryn/Seven

Rating: PG-13

Prompt: Mistletoe

Summary: It's Christmas time, and Seven has some eggnog at the Christmas party.

Disclaimer: I do not own them. At all.

It had been a Christmas party and it had been going well. It was also Seven's first time experiencing the Christmas tradition of 'eggnog'. She had done research about the topic. Extensive research and Neelix had assured her it would be non-alcoholic. But no one had told Seven of the tradition of 'spiking the eggnog'.

Seven blinked. She couldn't believe how amazing the glass she was holding was. It had such potential. She could drink from it. She could spill it. She could drink from it. Amazing! And then there was her hand. Or, more accurately, her two hands. The mesh that covered them was sooo pretty….

"Seven? … Seven? Are you alright?"

Seven looked up at the Captain. "I do not know. How many hands do I have?"

"Two hands."

"Oh. I thought I had four…"

Kathryn bit her lip, trying not to laugh. "I think you're drunk, Seven."

"Oh." The ex-borg looked rather lost.

Kathryn smiled slightly and linked her arm though the much taller blonde's. "Let's get you to the cargo bay so you can regenerate."

"Yes Captain."

They had just entered Cargo bay 2 when Seven stopped walking.

"Captain, what's that?" she pointed upwards.

"That's mistletoe. People put it up around Christmas."

Seven's research had included mistletoe, and the proper etiquette when standing underneath it with someone.

"Captain?"

"Yes Seven?" she said turning to face the ex-borg.

Kathryn wasn't expecting the soft lips that descended on hers, and it left her frozen once Seven moved away.

"Goodnight Captain."

Seven made her way to her alcove and started her regeneration cycle.

Kathryn watched Seven regenerating for a few minutes.

"You're going to regret this tomorrow morning Seven."

The senior staff meeting had just finished, and everyone had left the conference room. Except Janeway and Seven. Seven paused at the door before turning around.

"I regret nothing Captain."

She left.
