King Elliot and his wife Queen Alia were married three days before spring.

The entire kingdom rejoiced, for King Elliot didn't often associate with trying to get married to someone within the family bloodline.

But as youth, Alia and Elliot had always been the best of friends.

So when Elliot one day asked Alia to marry him, the whole kingdom had never been happier.

Elliot had never smiled so much in his entire life, and Alia's smile had never been so full.

Life was good and prosperous.

Then, two years later, Queen Alia gave birth to the kingdom's heir.

Queen Alia gave birth to Princess Ishtar, but as the heir was a girl, King Elliot seemed to get angry.

He never actually showed this to his daughter, and he could see that his daughter would grow up to be a beautiful woman.

It was later found that King Elliot was angry with how close his wife Alia was to the captain of the guard, Captain Selen, otherwise known as the Dark Angel of the Capital.

One day as King Elliot had once again confronted his wife about this friendship, a butler with two glasses of wine is said to have entered and offered them the drinks. The castle of Pheliosta has over two hundred servants so it is hard to learn all of their names.

Both the King and Queen were too distracted to call for their food tasters and drank the wine straight.

However the wine was poisoned, and both realized this immediately.

Queen Alia called for Captain Selen to capture the perpetrator. The man who gave them the wine managed to get away with his life, however King Elliot and Queen Alia were not so fortunate.

At the funeral the next day, even though over two thousand people attended it's said that King Elliot and Queen Alia's daughter, Princess Ishtar, neglected to attend. Sir Keld has told us that she was too sad to let any one see her, as she was only three years old and she would not see her parents ever again.

When King Elliot and Queen Alia died, the role of leader was taken upon the royal advisor, Sir Keld, until her majesty, Princess Ishtar…

With that I closed the history book I reading out of. Keld looked at me and got angry because he thought I was going to skip my studies again.

But not this time, this time I was angry.

Angry at Keld.

Keld never told me when my parents died.

Keld only told me that they died.

He assumed that I wouldn't understand because I was such a small child.

But he had told the people making the history book that I was just so sad that I couldn't bear to come out.

I never knew that I three when they died.

I never knew that after they died people came to the palace to mourn.

I never knew about the funeral.

I never knew Keld hid this from me.

I never knew.
