Chaper 1. Best Friends

Isabela's POV
3:00 a.m, Uggh. Go to sleep Bella. I tossed and turned all night, finally I got up and went down stairs. I grabbed a glass of warm milk and sat down on the couch. I turned the t.v and putting the volume down low so I wouldn't wake up anyone else in the house. After getting tired of watching t.v I decided to call Jace. No, before you ask. Jace is not my boyfriend he's my best friend.
I dialed his number and surprisingly he picked up. "Hey Bestie!" I whispered shouted.

"What now Bella" he asked groggily.

"I can't sleep" I said naggingly.

"Well I'm trying to sleep" he snapped back.

"Rude much" I said back.

"Bella, can I go back to sleep now?" He said annoyed.

"No, stay up with me till I fall asleep please?" I asked.

"Fine" he said back.

"Hey did you get your notes from science cla-" I got interrupted.

"I know I said that I'll stay up with you but do you have to talk?" He asked.

"Yes i do now stop interrupting me, Jace!" I snapped back.

"Fine" he shot back.

"Now as I was saying did you get your notes fro-" Jace started snoring.

"Rude much and btw worst best friend ever" I hung up.

I walked back upstairs and laid in my bed. OK Bella, it's 4 a.m you have 2 more hours left of sleep. You can do it.

2 hours later

Well, it's 6 a.m and I didn't get any sleep at all. I can't be late for school today. I have an early cheer leading practice. I guess I have no choice. Fu*k you sleep

Ten minutes later
I'm all ready and about to head out. I was almost to school until someone shouted my name.

"Bella" I heard, I turned around. Guess who it was, Jace.

He was running up to me.

"Ahhh" he screamed "why does your face look like that."

"I didnt get enough sleep last night remember, that why I called you." I told him.

"See, if I would have stayed up, I would look like a sea monster like you" he said "and I can't afford to mess up my face, this is where the action happens."

I rolled my eyes "whatever" "fine don't believe me" he said.

We continued to walk in silence until I broke it.

"Do I really look like a sea monster?" I asked panicky grabbing my face.

"Yeah, you kinda do." I quickly started putting make up on.

"Bel's, I was kidding" Jace said "you're beautiful no matter how you look."

I was blushing like crazy. Does Jace like me?

Jace's POV
Did I just say that Bela was beautiful. She is but I have a girlfriend. She probably thinks I like her now, which I don't.

We walked the rest of the way to school silent. As we stepped in school we both said our goodbyes and went our separate ways. I saw my friend Sean and went up to him.

"Dude, you wouldn't believe what happend" I told him.

"What happend?" he asked.

" I just told Bela she was beautiful" I told him.

"She isn't?" He asked.

" she is but I think she thinks that I like her"

" you don't?"

"No, I like her but as a friend" I told him.

"Sure you d-" I interrupted him.

"Can you please stop answering me in questions!" I yelled at him.

"Fine but you do like her though." He said.

"No I don-." Jack walked by.

"Jack can you please tell Sean that I don't like Bela" I asked him.

" sorry, but I can't" jack said.

"Why not" I asked him.

"Because you do like Bela" Jack told me.

"NO I DON'T" I screamed and walked away.

Bianca walked up to me.

"Hey babe, you okay?" She asked.

"I'm fine" I answered agitated.

"Okayyyy.." She said " wanna walk me to class?"

"Sure" I said not caring. We walked to class together.
