Their Favorite
He was their favorite
The best they've ever seen
But did they ever think twice about what that boy was hiding?
Did they ever wonder why he always was so wild?
Why he never seemed like the perfect child?
Why his mother always resented him?
How he never wanted to go home?
Did they ever think of the lonely child
As the one who never had a place, he called home?
He was their favorite
The one who wouldn't cry
But did they ever think twice about the pain they caused inside?
