Title: Full Moon
Pairings: Danny/Jackson and Stiles/Lydia
Author's Note: I have seen a lot of prompts giving Danny or Jackson the bite in the woods but I haven't really seen any stories about it. I personally love the Danny/Jackson relationship. This is my first fanfiction so please no flames. This is just the prologue so it's short but the actual chapter will range at about 2,000 - 3,000 words. Enjoy J
Summary: What if it had been Danny and Jackson in the woods that night. And what if it had been Danny who got the bite?
"This is by far your stupidest idea ever," Danny whined as the two boys continued through the woods. Every few moments the two sixteen years old would freeze, in fear of some other presence near them. Jackson was only a foot or two away from Danny, pretending as if he wasn't even a little bit afraid of being in the woods in the middle of night. Danny, being the exemplary best friend that he was, let Jackson drag him through the woods.
"This was a great idea," Jackson says not doing a very good job of hiding the fear in his voice. Danny just smirks at the voice crack that comes out.
"We can turn back if you want," Danny suggests. Jackson just ignores him. "I mean, even if we find the body, what would we do with it?" Danny asks because they had never really discussed it yet. Jackson turns around and sighs.
"We'd turn in it into the police and get a reward," Jackson says as though it's the most obvious thing in the world.
"Jackson they're not giving any reward," Danny says with a tone of annoyance in his voice. Jackson's blue eyes widen.
"Then why the hell are we out in the middle of woods at eleven o'clock at night?" he cries looking around nervously.
"Because you're an idiot, that's why. Now, come on let's go home. This place is freaking me out," Danny says turning to walk away. Jackson follows close behind. The two don't even make it a few steps before they hear a loud rustling noise. It sounds close, very close.
"D-Danny," Jackson whispers.
"Yea?"
"Did you hear that?"
"J-Jackson," Danny says slowly.
"Y-Yea?" Jackson asks sacredly.
"Do you see that?"
"Yea."
Before the two boys can even attempt to run a figure comes out of the bushes next to them. It's so dark that the figure's red eyes glow. The boys can very much tell that this figure isn't a person, or any animal that they've ever heard of. Before they can think of any else the two teens take off, running as fast as they can. The figure follows very close behind.
"Jackson you go that way and I'll go the other," Danny calls as they run. Jackson nods and they split. Danny, again being the exemplary friend that he is, yells out for the figure to follow him, which it does. Jackson is able to run and hide behind a large rock. He waits for Danny there. Jackson only waits for about fifteen minutes before he sees a limping Danny approaching.
"Danny," Jackson says relief flushing his voice as he stands up. "What the hell was that?" he asked not even trying to hide the terror in his voice.
"I-I don't know…." Danny said slowly before reaching down to the hem of his shirt. He gently pulled it up and Jackson gasped. "But it bit me."
