Season - 421 Double Jeopardy
Summary - Teal'c points out to newly freed Jaffa what a shol'va really is.
A/N: I have long thought that if I were Teal'c, I'd be proud of being The Shol'va. Yes, in my world, Teal'c gets caps for that. He was the first.
The Jaffa were shocked. Their god Chronos was dead. They had never seen a god killed before. They were beginning to react with more anger than anything else when O'Neill looked to Teal'c for a decision. Teal'c nodded back and stepped out on an outcropping of rock. "JAFFA!" Teal'c boomed. "Brothers, hear me! If you know me, then you know what I stand for."
"You are The Shol'va! You betrayed your god! Why would we listen to you?"
"You call me shol'va. And if that means to betray a false god, then I did so. However, I call those who stand by the false gods shol'va. For they have betrayed their people. They continue to allow their brothers and sisters to languish in slavery. I betrayed a false god, but I was true to our fellow Jaffa. I know freedom. Join me, brothers. Free our people."
