"She's staring at me."

"Yes."

"Why is she staring at me?"

"Because she used to be your best friend."

"Oh…"

"Yes," Hinata turned and smiled, "Would you like to go talk to her, Sakura-chan?"

Sakura squirmed, "Er… What's her name, Hyuuga-san?"

"C-Call me Hinata, Sakura-chan. Her name's Yamanaka, Ino."

"…Doesn't ring a bell."

"I-It wouldn't, your amnesia's still at large."

"Ah."

Ino's face brightened.

"Sakura," she grabbed the pinkette's shoulders, "No one's been telling me what happened! All anyone tells me is that you don't remember anything."

Sakura blinked at the blonde.

"Is that true, Sakura? Do you not remember me?"

"I'm sorry," Sakura smiled hesitantly at Ino, "But no, I don't remember."

"Oh."

"Ino," Hinata glanced at her watch, "I have to get Sakura back to the hospital now. Tsunade's waiting."

"What happened to her?" Ino turned to Hinata, her happy demeanor gone. "Why isn't anyone telling me anything? Why am I being kept in the dark?"

"I'm sorry, Ino but I can't tell you anything you haven't already been told."

"Bullshit! You know don't you? I want to know what happened in Sound!"

"INO, we don't have time for this and Tsunade-sama has reasons for not telling you!" Hinata's face was slowly reddening.

"Oh yeah? What are they-"

"HEY!" Sakura stepped between them, glaring, "No need to fight."

Hinata and Ino turned to her in shock.

"You two need to snap out of it. I'm sorry Ino-san, but we'll have to talk to you later, okay?"

"I'm sorry, Sakura," Hinata gasped.

"Sorry you had to see that," Ino said coldly, stepping around them.

"…I'm sorry I don't remember anything."
