Author's Note: Since I've been away for awhile, I've decided to do a one-shot. It's based off mine and two friends RP. It also features Claire Bennet from Heroes, and the hinted pairing is Claire/Roxas and the other pairing is Claire/Riku. Enjoy. Flames and Criticism are welcome. Ideas are also welcome. Hollow Bastion Cemetery

She never did understand why he pushed out the way of that spell. Claire would have healed perfectly well by herself, but no, he had to be a gentleman and get himself incinerated by it. Now he was dead, and she blamed her. Watching as his casket was lowered into the ground; the former cheerleader stifled back sobs. In a way, He was lucky, they all are. They can die, unlike her. Claire has to live in this world and not be able to die. She longed to be like them.

Hollow Bastion Hotel

Claire sat quietly in the corner. It had been a hour since the funeral, and now everyone was staring at her like she had did something wrong, Even Kairi who is nice to everyone was staring at her like she'd just ripped someone's insides out. Claire sighed to herself and began to walk towards her room. As she passed through the double doors leading to the elevator, a single voice rang out "No one blames you Claire". She just turned and smiled at the bearer of the voice, Riku, then, unable to hold back her tears anymore, she began to sob. Claire could only hear a few footsteps before two muscular arms wrapped around her lithe form and silvery bangs tickled her nose. Riku was hugging her. "No-one blames me? Then tell me why they're all giving me looks, 'Cause I really think they are" She managed to say into his ear "Especially her" Claire finished "Well she blames you, But all the others are worried about you, especially..." He trailed off, which then caused her to ask "Especially who?" and she let go of him, the tears in her eyes bringing out the colour. "Riku, tell me, please" Claire began to ask him "It doesn't matter, go get some sleep, I'll speak to you tomorrow" "Okay then, Good-night Riku!" Claire managed to grin at him as she stepped into the elevator "You look insane when you smile" He chuckled as the door's closed. Inside the elevator, Claire whispered to no-one "I must be insane to like you."
