Disclaimer: Bleach belongs to Kubo Tite, and all the quotes used in this work belong to their respective owners.

Note: I know that I should be working in my other projects, but inspiration has left me, thank you College for that ¬¬. I want to see if I can get it back my submitting drabbles each Sunday, using famous quotes as prompts for each one. To accomplish this, I want all of my readers to participate, in each review stating which quote and characters you would like to see in the next drabble; the first review of each chapter will decide the topic for the next chapter. I accept of all characters and couples if you like, just no yuri or yaoi please. Any quote, be it a proverb, lyric, movie or book quote will do.

Thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoy this first drabble!

#1: She is fierce

Quote: "And though she be but little, she is fierce!" From: A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare.

Characters: Kurosaki Ichigo and Kuchiki Rukia.

Word Count: 329

If Ichigo were to describe Rukia in just one word, he'd say she was pretty short; or at least, this is what would come to his mind first.

It was general knowledge that the young Kuchiki Rukia was tiny, and for someone whose height was actually above average like Ichigo, it was more than noticeable.

The young man would often remark on her lack of stature, calling her names like midget; but the fact that she was way smaller than him, would awaken in Ichigo a desire to protect her. Rukia, at first glance, was a beautiful yet fragile doll that would break if even the softest of winds dared to touch her.

Of course, it took Ichigo no more than five seconds to realize she wasn't delicate at all; and over time, he came to know other sides of Rukia that anyone would miss if they didn't look at her closely.

Kuchiki Rukia had a temper. Though she appeared to be cool, calm and collected, once you got on her nerves, she would snap at you, especially if you had either insulted Chappy the Rabbit, or her drawings, thing that Ichigo knew well enough but enjoyed doing anyway.

Despite her soft appearance, Rukia was very strong. Her well-aimed punches and kicks hurt more than you could imagine, leaving purple bruises behind; and they took a great amount of time to heal too! But not only did she possess physical strength: her will never faltered, not even in life to death situations.

She was passionate too. Everything she did, be it drawing or fighting, she did it ardently; Ichigo had never met anyone who could feel so strongly about anything. This was one of the things he admired the most about her.

If Ichigo were to describe Rukia, the first thing that would come to his mind would be definitely the fact that she was little; then, he would just shook his head, chuckle and proudly say:

"She's fierce."

P.S. I have already written the next drabble, so to get a chance to choose the next topic, guess which characters are going to appear next and who said the quote!

Hint:

*The couple is canon.

*The quote was said by an American writer of the 19th Century.
