My favorite time of the year is by far Halloween. Why? Because of the exchanging of sweets of course, and this year I have a perfect idea to get what I really want.
"I'll trade you a piece of gum for this chocolate bar." Ryou says, smiling. He's not really good at this, and I take advantage of the fact.
"My piece of gum? For that? I'm sorry Ryou, but this happens to be my favorite brand, and I'm just now willing enough to give you it for that." He frowns.
"But this also just happens to be my favorite brand of chocolate, yami."
"Then you would be so willing to part with any other?" I smirk.
"Of course, but… It would be more a fair trade if I give you something of equal worth of mine as yours."
"But what if I so happen to enjoy this brand of gum more than you enjoy your chocolate?"
"Then it wouldn't be…" He stops and shakes his head.
"Exactly hikari, and I just happen to love this brand more than life itself, so try harder."
"What would you like? Take anything, I just want that gum, I also love it more than life itself, though my chocolate and your gum are of equal worth."
"Anything?" I say, raising an eyebrow.
"Anything."
"I'll give you my gum… For a kiss." I say, grinning. I press my lips against his and then slip the gum into his hand. I walk out of the room triumphantly.
I've gotten what I wanted. After all, is there anything sweeter than Ryou?
