"I don't feel right about this." Dot said with a nervous expression on her face as she sat on the couch watching television. Rita the cat smiled at the only female member of the warner family and contemplated giving her a kiss on the cheek.
"What's not to feel right about?" Rita asked with a smile on her face as she suppressed a chuckle as she watched Patrick star getting hit in the head with a coconut on the television screen. "You know that I would never do anything that you weren't emotional ready for." Rita said with a smile on her face as she briefly removed her attention from the television screen and admired the blush that had formed on the cheeks of the warner sister.
"I know, it's just that…" Dot hesitated for a few seconds before continuing her sentence. "…I really think that we should tell people about our relationship." Dot said nervously to the singing cat beside her. Rita's smile brightened considerably at what the warner sister had said, and turned her head to face her.
"Do you really mean that?" Rita asked the warner sister, as she started to imagine the things that she and her special friend could do together once they made their relationship known to the public. Although, she had to reluctantly admit that it would probably mean the end of the 'secret television dates' that she had grown fond of in the past 3 weeks since they had begun their relationship.
Dot seemed to hesitate once again, as if she were reconsidering the previous words she had said to her 'special friend' before responding.
"Yes, I do. I love you, and nothing would make me happier than to purchase a giant karaoke machine and scream out how much I love you from the tallest skyscraper in the city." Dot said with a timid smile, that was rewarded with a kiss on her bright red cheek from the singing cat whom she was currently sharing a couch with.
"I know exactly how you feel." Rita said with a smile on her face as she stared into the eyes of her girlfriend. "I've wanted to sing my love for you so that the whole city could hear me ever since I first laid my eyes on you." Rita said with a smile, before leaning in to whisper into the warner sister's ear.
"And I happen to have a giant karaoke machine at my house, if you would like to meet me there tomorrow night." Rita said with a smile that was returned by Dot, who was now blushing madly.
"I do have one small request however." Rita said as she moved back towards her previous position on the couch.
"On our next date, can you please make sure that your brothers aren't filming us." Rita said as she gestured towards Wakko, who was holding his ipod and presumably filming the two lovers on the couch while his brother stood beside him with a slightly sheepish grin on his face.
"It kind of kills the mood."
