"Vision, we've talked about this."

After these words were spoken, Wanda and Vision looked at each other and remembered what had happened one month ago.

Wanda Maximoff was getting dressed in the morning. She had been so focused on what she would do for the day that she didn't feel a presence behind her. She was only wearing her underwear and when she turned around to get hold of her shirt, she saw Vision standing there in her room, staring at her.

Wanda let out a scream and she went to grab the shirt to cover her chest. She blushed deeply and Vision was redder than usual, if that was even possible.

"What are you doing here? How did you get in?" Wanda asked when she noticed that her bedroom door was still closed.

"I, uh, I came to see how you were doing. I know that, uh, you've been having nightmares about Pietro." Vision answered. "I came through the wall. I thought you wouldn't mind."

"You saw the door closed and it didn't occur to you that I was doing something private?" Wanda asked breathless.

"I, I didn't know. I'm sorry Wanda." Vision blushed even more.

They both stared at each other for a minute. Then, Wanda realized that Vision was only a few months old and that he was as innocent as a child.

"I'm sorry I yelled at you, Vision. It's just that you caught me by surprise." Wanda apologized.

"It's ok. I'll leave you alone so you can finish getting dressed. I'll wait outside." Vision left the room silently.

Wanda finished getting dressed and thought about how she didn't really care that Vision had seen her half naked. She also realized that he had been there in the first place to see how she was doing. No one had cared for her this much since Pietro had been there to calm her down every night when she had nightmares. She felt a shiver when she remembered what had happened, a shiver she had never felt before.

When Wanda came out of the room, she found Vision in the hallway. He seemed to be blaming himself for everything. She approached him carefully and touched his arm.

"Thank you so much for caring about me, Vision. I want you to know that I'm not angry." Wanda said.

Vision stared at her intensely and got nearer to her. Their faces were almost touching. Wanda's heart sped up and felt the same shiver she had felt before. In that moment she thought of all those moments when Vision had been there to help her, all the looks they shared, all the times they protected each other in training, and she realized that perhaps she felt more than friendship for him.

Wanda leaned a hand against his cheek and her face got closer to Vision's. She hesitated a second to give him time to step aside in case she had been wrong when she had assumed that he might feel the same way as her. But Vision, instead of moving away, he got closer and brushed his lips against Wanda's.

Wanda had never kissed anyone before, had never had he time or the opportunity. In that moment, she realized that she had been missing out on a lot. For being someone without much experience, Vision knew what he was doing. He intensified the kiss so much that Wanda couldn't stand and he wrapped his arms around her so she wouldn't fall.

When they separated their lips, they stood still staring at each other while being embraced. For Wanda, that had been the first moment in which she had been truly happy since Pietro's death.
