Fullmetal Drama! part 3Ed collapsed onto the steps of Winry s house, pulling his hair out. How the hell could he have been so stupid? He had been asleep all morning in a comfy chair while the love of his life had disappeared without a trace. As he had wandered outside, wondering where Winry could have gone off to, Ed had been confronted by a skeletal, gray man in a cloak. The man had claimed to be from Septia-a place Ed had never heard of in his life-and had informed Ed in a very malicious tone that if he ever wished to have his litt-el gurlfrind back, he would have to come to their as Ed had wanted to pound the little twerp to pieces, he had known that the only way he would ever see Winry again was by getting more information on her whereabouts. Just as Ed was about to inquire further into the matter, the scrawny man twitched and crumbled into dust. Ed s first reaction was surprise. His second was well, that s that. All Ed needed to do was find his brother and get him to open whatever porthole had sucked Winry away. Sooooo...Al. Oh yeah. thought Ed. I don t know where the hell he is. It was true that Ed and Al had split up a while ago to search the different hemispheres for new knowledge. Ed s search had brought him back here but it was evident that al had not had the same luck. The two brothers had not seen each other since a chance encounter in Central City six months ago, and Ed didn t have the foggiest idea where Al was. Right, though Ed. In his head he made a map. Finding Al lead to Septia, finding Septia led to finding Winry, and finding Winry lead to getting back to Resembool. And so it was that Ed sheepishly bade farewell to Granny Pinako after his three hours stay and walked off to the train station, bag in hand. Granny Pinako watched him leave, and saw a boy, brave and determined. She saw a boy wrapped in bandages with one arm, one leg, and a fire in his eyes. Granny Pinako saw the same loyalty and courage in this man as she had seen in the boy she had known years ago. However, she also noted the very small difference in height...
