A/N: I know the title for this story's a bit elaborate, but Haku deserves some love and this is a good way with helping her ego. Well, for the fans to love her even more, I guess.

Ideas came from the video for Haku Yowane: Daughter of White.

Enjoy!!

Scene 1: Forest

Ever since Haku was little, she always had a head full of silvery white hair. Her mother would always tell her daughter how beautiful her hair is whenever she combed and brushed it out of its ponytail. Haku would smile when her mother would tell her that as a child, being proud to have such strands of hair others do not. That was when she was seven who was living with her mother in a small cottage in the forest near a stream. Haku's mother died from pneumonia and a while later, Haku left that small cottage and lived in a village that was nearby. The only difference besides the village not having a name was everyone's hair color.

Everywhere Haku went, from the market to get some food, to church, everyone's hair was green.

A beautiful forest green.

Years passed, and Haku felt more and more outcasted from the green-haired village because of her indifference of hair color.

They thought it was weird for a woman to have hair as white as snow on a nice winter day like Haku's, causing them to shun her from talking and even befriending the villagers. The children would mock her for having 'old lady hair' from it being so white without an inch of green in it. The more that occurred, the more Haku began to hate being born with white locks and not fitting in with anyone in the village. No matter where she went, no one would ever acknowledge her existence or talk to her for being so different. No matter how nice and polite she was to everyone, they would just look the other way and make a snied remark about her who was able to hear it. She was always alone, being hated and despised for years.

The white-haired woman was always sad at this.

Deep in the forest, when Haku was taking a walk to clear her head one day, she found an old oak tree standing out in the middle of the outskirts of the green-haired village. It was bigger than any of the other trees that were surrounding the luscious sea of green leaves. Everyday, without anyone following her, the crimson-eyed woman would go into the forest and find the big oak tree that stood out from the others, got on her knees underneath the thick branches, and prayed a silent prayer to God.

"I know I've said this before, and you're probably getting tired of me saying this, but... living all alone the way I'm living is really sad. The only thing I want is someone, anyone... to be my friend."

A/N: Short, I know, but I'm working on the second chapter right now. I'm going by the youtube video for Haku as much as I can. Besides, I bet everyone can relate to Haku for being outcasted. I know I can and still do to this day.

But now, I have friends who I can talk to when I'm feeling down.

R and R!

Here's the vid for Daughter of White. It's a pretty good vid. Sad and makes you feel pity for a few of the characters, but still good.
