I WANT IT THAT WAY
Addison was sitting in the chapel, waiting for the Burke and Cristina's wedding ceremony to begin, when Alex sat down next to her.
"I looked for the hottest chick in the room and sat next to her" Alex flirted to Addison, who was wearing a beautiful blue dress.
"Stop" Addison ordered.
"Wanna ditch the reception and grab a drink instead?" Alex continued.
"Stop it! You don't want me"
"Maybe I do"
"No, you don't. You want Ava"
"She's not Ava anymore. She's Rebecca now and I barely know her"
"Look at me"
Alex didn't look at Addison.
"Look at me" Addison repeated. Now Alex looked at her. "You suck. To me you suck. I kind of hate you. But Alex, we do not get unlimited chances to have the things we want and this I know. Nothing is worse than missing an opportunity that could have changed your life. And no matter what her name is…"
Addison was interrupted by Alex who was now pressing his lips against hers.
"Alex! What the hell do you think you're doing?" Addison said as she pushed Alex away.
"Following your advice. I'm taking chances to have the things I want. I want you"
"Alex, you don't want me"
"Addison, stop telling me what you think I want, because you're so wrong. I like Ava, or Rebecca or whatever her name is, but it's you I want. Not Ava, but you"
"I'm sorry Alex, but I really don't believe you anymore. You rejected me twice"
"I know I did and if I could turn back time I'd change everything. But I can't. You'll just have to trust me, please?"
Then the music started and the doors opened. Cristina walked down the aisle, followed by Meredith, Izzie and Callie.
"We'll finish this conversation later, okay?" Addison whispered to Alex.
"Sure"

"To the newlyweds! Cheers!" Derek said while raising his glass of champagne.
"To the newlyweds!" The other guests all said in unison.
The whole Seattle Grace staff was sitting together, except for Cristina and Burke and George and Callie. They were dancing.
"Wanna finish that conversation now?" Alex asked Addison.
"What conversation?" Izzie interfered.
"Sorry Iz, non of your business" Alex said and stood up, pulling Addison with him.
They went outside. The sky had a red colour from the sun going down.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Addison asked.
"Not more beautiful than you"
"Alex…"
"Addison, please give me another chance"
"If you really love me, then why did you reject me twice?"
"I was afraid of hurting you. I'm not perfect and you deserve perfect"
"Alex, no one is perfect. And I really mean no one"
Alex noticed that Addison was shivering a bit. He took off his jacket and put it around her shoulders. Their shoulders brushed, sending shivers down both their spines.
Addison turned her head to his and leaned in for a kiss.
"What the heck. Here's your last chance. Don't blow it this time."
THE END
