The life of a mutant is a hard one in this day and age, there is fear of us, hate of us, and that's just from the humans. there are also evil mutants, well no so much evil, not all of them anyway. it would be based on your perspective. the mutant terrorist groups have tried on several occasions to kill off the human government. or start their own country. but its been years since anything big has happened. the X-men and avengers, along with other smaller groups like the new warriors have gotten a hold on most of the big criminals, all that is left is petty thieves, and a crime lord here and there.
im sure your curious about my mutant powers though, well, basically I can alter my physical ability. strength, speed, agility. I also have some amount of foresight ability, and last but not least, by looking into a person's eyes, I can get a basic impression of what the person is thinking, basically, a low level physic in most respects, about as powerful as Spider-man's spider sense (but we don't know about that) in addition, Master Rand has taken me on as his private student. taking it upon himself to teach me all he knows.
As you MAY have guest, I am a mutant. im 17 years old, and I live in new York city, I live with my martial arts teacher, Daniel Rand, he took me in when I was an infant as a favor to some old friends he always told me. I really don't know who my parents are, rather upsetting but I have some amount of peace in the matter.
I graduate from midtown high this year, im really nervous about what im going to do after. I think im going to ask Master Rand for a job in his company. another side of me would like to go out and make it on my own. but, I think ill worry about that when I come to it. for right now, im just going to go to school, and hang with my friends, most people at my school don't care that im a mutant. im just not aloud to play in any of the sports, or official events, I have to test when other people aren't around, basically im separate from the rest of the school. but it was mostly done by the mutant fearing people that have their fingers in the school, the only reason I haven't been kicked out is because a law passed for mutant rights a few years ago. yeah, its pretty obvious im a mutant, my eye's colors are inverted (black where the white should be, and white where the black should be) and my hair is similar, the top half is black and my bangs the side, and back are white. over all I think it looks cool, but it makes me stick out a bit.
so yeah.. life is hardly boring, but over all I like it, not even the mutant haters in the school bother me all that much, they know I train with Master Rand, and he being a hero in the town, they show some sort of respect to me because of him, though, I have to keep my mind, and not give them a reason to start anything. like I said.. interesting.
OH! one last little bit of information before I head off to school..
